If the torture photos are not released, Congress should subpoena them for the hearings.

1. Sounds good, but I can see reasons why they may just be delaying. I bet these photos will come out one way or another.

A drek primitive:

2. I've little doubt that the photos will be released per court order.

Obama wants to look like he's against releasing the images, to head off attacks that he wants to inflame the ME.

A les risibles primitive:

3. That sounds too much like "cross your fingers" to me

We'll see.

But wait a minute here--we haven't seen the Karl Rove indictment yet.

4. It sounds like chess playing to me.

How many times to we have to go through these things before people learn to play the game?

5. Agreed. When ARE those JFK archives going to be declassified, anyway?

Sometimes it's not enough to let things happen - we have to make things happen, or we'll be left scratching our heads and asking "What happened?"

My theory is the photo are extremely tame and will embarrass the critics if released.  Meanwhile, the Little Goons still think congress' Magic Subpoenas have the same undeniable power as calling "Not it!" in a backyard game of Tag.

 Just another theory

Cheney has been B#T#H slapping obama for about two weeks and obama backed down.

Me thinks that we have elected the wrong guy 3 times in a row

How bout Cheney 2012

He was my #1 choice--all other choices being way far down--for 2008.

But damn it, he wouldn't run.

Too many heart attacks pretty much ruled him out, along with his association with Halliburton (as innocuous as that was).

He would have kicked McCainez's ass as well as taking forcing some limelight on the Big Egg0 prior to the election.
