DollarBill versus TominTib

I still had doubts as to whether or not CounterfitDollarBill was the much anticipated return of the world famous TominTib. Not many doubts, but doubts. I decided to do some quick comparisons. You can find them below.

Twins from another mother? The same person? You decide.

CounterfitDollarBill claims not to be tech savvy.

Does this reply even register?

This is a test, as I am really low-tech.

But I might have laid the bike down on the cobblestones and skinned an elbow.

2. I watched that show with Lee Hazelwood

We were probably the only two guys in Texas with long hair. Frank Sinatra had just hired Lee to launch his daughter's (Nancy) career. Lee had already penned a lot of hits.

Lee wrote "Some Velvet Morning (when I'm strange...)", showed it to Sinatra and almost got fired. Frank said that there was no way anyone would listen to music like that.

Anyway, Lee had caught the Beatles quite a few times in England and we watched the show that wonderful Sunday evening. Lee told me the world would never be the same after that. As usual, he was right.

I can still see him - long hair, gauzy blousey shirt and flowered bell-bottom pants. And this was in effing Beaumont, Texas.

16. I met her in a little cafe in Vinton, Louisiana many years back.

We had racehorses and raced them at Vinton. One of the local handicappers was a little black kid around eight years old (seriously).

I was standing on a sidewalk in town when the kid came up to me and said,"Mister Tom, WonderWoman in de cafe over dere". And this kid was always as serious as a heart attack.

So I walked in and there she was, sitting with some woman (I believe it was her agent) and everyone in the place was looking at her.

And I just walked up and introduced myself. This was the late 70s and I was into vintage Western shirts and wild-assed boots and my hair was to my waist.

Sat down and had lunch with them and invited them to a party at our trainer's house that night. They were making an appearance in Houston the next day.

And she showed up.

She had the most beautiful eyes in the world.

94. You know where...

I grew up?

Dirt poor on a Texas ranch.

I never attended one day of school, because we were too poor to drive to town every day.

And then I went to Vietnam for 39 months.

From there, I went back to Texas, only to have the pleasure of spending another 28 months in Huntsville as a guest of the Texas Department of Corrections.

My life may be just peachy now, but it hasn't always been that way.

They are now very successful purveyors of pot.

Those 'parents' of that child should have been charged with negligence.

See post #8.

Do you think it's Ok when parents act like that?

They are setting an example and opening the door for ever-worsening behavior.

Pure ego and fantasy. In Realville...TiT/DBH is a 50 something pot smoking burn out working minimum wage kissing ass to rich California fat cats and mooching off of other peoples good will for a place to sleep.

But on DU he's the heroic Vietnam Vet...turned poet musician and fighter of evil corporate CEO's...living a bohemian lifestyle in NorCal while offering tips on wine and dishing out sage advice on life.

And for the most part...the DUmmies eat it up.

Oh Nads, you are soooooo screwed.

There's no current natural disaster going on.

Nutcase nadin is at her best guiding the DUmpmonkeys step-by-step through a disaster.

Radiation leaks, hurricanes, tsunamis, oil spills, epidemics, plane crashes, even wars - nadin is your go-to dwarf.

During normal times, with no overriding disaster, TiT is tops for making stuff up out of thin air.

But nadin has no peer during disasters.

You forgot about the yellow highlighter and badass towards SecDEFs

For some reason when I think of TiT and nads meeting I think of this old Jim Stafford song.

Jim Stafford
Cow Pattie lyrics
From the badlands came the killer
He lived by the knife and the gun
He'd cut ya just for standin'
Shoot ya if ya tried to run
He was as big aa a tree and did as he pleased
And everthing he did was bad
They said if ya was to kill him
You'd only make him mad
From the goodlands come the cowgirl
Patty was her name
She was hot on the trail of that killer
On a moped she called Flame
Cause the killer had killed her daddy
For spittin' in the road
And you only had to kill her daddy once
To get that gal PO'd

(Chorus)
Yippee yay a Cow Patty
Yippee yay a Cow Patty
She rode in to town to find the man who killed her daddy
Yippee yay a Cow Patty

Killer hit town at day break
Ate the door off the local saloon
He started to drink
You could tell ne was thinkin' they'll be a showdown soon
Patty hit town in a cloud of dust
Old Flame was buzzin' like a saw
And the whole town got as quiet as a church
When the killer stepped out for the draw
Forty shots rang out forty people fell
Patty and the killer missed each other
But they shot that town to hell

(Chorus)

Killer took a step toward Patty
Said it's time I gunned you down
But he slipped in somethin' that was layin in the street
And was shot fore he hit the ground
Yes the killer slipped
And it cost him his life
And Patty said as she roared out of town
You gotta watch your step
When you know the chips are down

TiT/DBH is a 50 something pot smoking burn out working minimum wage kissing ass to rich California fat cats and mooching off of other peoples good will for a place to sleep.

Mostly correct, except TomInSonoma is more like in his mid-60s. Tom Wright (aka "DollarBillHines") works in a place called Potter Green & Co., and sells yard junk.

Now his "GF," in whose house he lives (according to the Sonoma News), does a little better. Her name is Christine L. "Chris" Mueller, and she's the same age as I am (born in 1953). She does marketing for "Marketing Made Simple" and "2 Alibis" and is President of Women for WineSense.

I posted some pics of Tom upthread. Here are some pics of Chris Mueller:

So it sounds like it is through Chris that Tom gets to hobnob with the rich wine snobs in Sonoma.

FUnnie how some of the DUmmies rail against the evil rich, yet love to live like them. It's the old DUmmie DUbble Standard.

Sonoma News, Nov. 15, 2012

Last weekend’s events honoring veterans of all wars had a particularly potent impact on the many Vietnam vets and others who attended. . . .

When Tom Wright, a local Vietnam survivor, said that when he heard the Huey helicopter fly over his and Chris Mueller’s house last week, it made a sound he hadn’t heard in more than 40 years. Wright suddenly got spooked and had flashbacks invading his mind and emotions.

Wright said, “My nervous system reacted before I realized what I was hearing. I moved real close to a wall, and then went out to see it.”

While the three of us hung out around and touched the Huey, Wright explained that the “FNGs” sat in the unpadded seats nearest the outer edge. When I asked what FNGs were, I got the real answer “F***g New Guys.” The newbies on the outside, of course, took the first ammunition shot at the helicopter.

Wright was stationed in Dong Ha in Quang Tri province where few cargo planes or helicopters flew nearby to drop provisions. They lived on MREs, fish some guys learned to grab out of the rivers and monkeys they shot. He added that a prized part of the “barbecued” monkey was when “someone got to scoop the brains out of its head. We were hungry, we would eat anything, and we did.” And here we are in beautiful Sonoma.
