Stealing and hiding the remote IS that bad. It's company property.
Reprogramming a new remote, then blocking access to programs he disapproves of, IS that bad.
The TV machine is company property.
Doug Bulna was shit-canned because of the above, plus vile rants in regards to his employer and co-workers.
How the employer learned of the rants is of no consequence.
Doug Bulna shot himself in both feet, then did a power-slam head up the ass maneuver.

3) Certainly do NOT brag about it on the internet.
4) If you do brag, do not publish so much about yourself that anyone can guess where you work.
5) do not post on DU from work.

Conclusion: Treat your employer well, and he will treat you well.
If you doubt my words, just check out the Friends of Steve Dawes. Whoever they may be, they did a great public service by accurately quoting a DUer running for public office. (with links and everything).

My vacationing visitor & I were at a local restaurant tonight and I told him we had to get up and leave because Fox News was on TV!  :lmao: One guy at another table asked for the remote to change the channel and the owner of the place told him the remote was not working as it needed new batteries! This guy was too skinny to be Doug and he simply wanted to change the channel as the same news stories were repeating over and over, which was true.
