Title: OSU coach Jim Tressel in major hot water for this

He certainly will have bigger problems if what he did (or did not do) was proven true. You know what: I don't blame OSU or the NCAA for cashiering him.

They should fire him. He could be hired on as an assistant to a powerhouse SEC team and go back to OSU in 5 years. He'd eventually understand the game's new dynamics of brute force and speed on BOTH sides of the ball and start winning championships. Until then, it's all SEC bitches.

....until then, it's them praying to GOD that they're in the top 2 and the other is an ACC or Big East team.

Hell, it'd be a step up for UT in terms of ethics. Might even stop a few of them from committing armed robbery if they are in the tattoo chair all the time.

Frankly, the NCAA is a hypocritical joke.  They suspend a coach for "not telling" when his players are making a few bucks off of selling memorabilia (or their autographs, or whatever.)

Then they suspend a half dozen players for several games but let them play in the Sugar Bowl?  Why, exactly?  Is it because the players in question were they to be ineligible to play for the bowl game make it not as exciting?  Not as big a draw or as financially lucrative for the NCAA and the conference as it otherwise would have been?

Ah, but it's about the "integrity" of the student-athletes.  What horseshit.  You give them a few thousand bucks worth of tuition and make hundreds of millions off them.  **** that--give them a few bucks, ya greedy bastards.

Maurice Clarett.

You were sayin'?

(Janzen Jackson aside)  Mike Edwards and Nu'Keese Richardson. Also, the 2010 Arkansas Razorbacks.

Back on topic, I guess Tressel is saying there was a gag-order because the incidents were part of federal investigation of drug trafficking? Oh, this just gets better and better.
