Title: Parler
Post by: DLR Pyro on December 18, 2020, 10:46:59 AM
I've been seeing alot of posts on conservative sites about Parler as an alternative to facebook so I flushed my fb account about a month ago and opened an account on Parler.

Does anyone else here have a Parler account?  My account is Former_B-52_CC if you want to follow me.  I'm still trying to figure out how it works but there is some interesting content there.

I've never been a Twitter person, although I have signed up years ago but never posted.

Set up a Parler account last summer, but had trouble reconnecting especially during the election craziness.

Although I waste far too much time in other interests, might have to check out Parler for some daily amusement.  Imagine I'd follow a similar crowd as most conservatives apparently do, but once I figure out what crazy screenname I gave myself I'll share it.

Give it time.

I don't have a parler account, because my circumstances say there's no point in it, but I heartily recommend it.

The deal is, it's so new that its membership it hasn't had the time yet to grow near as large as the behemothic twitter, but it will.  I suspect that by mid-term elections, while it won't be as big as twitter yet, it'll be big enough that most won't have any problems getting traffic and followers.
