A truck has rammed into a large crowd of people in the centre of Stockholm killing three people.
Witnesses say the large vehicle drove into people in the shopping district of Drottninggata in the Swedish capital.
Police said a number of people had been hurt in the incident, which comes after trucks were used in terror attacks in Nice and Berlin last year.
Gunshots were also heard from the scene with horrific images showing pools of blood in the street.
Dramatic footage from the scene shows hundreds of people running for their lives as the attack took place.
