They really have no cluse as to what "Nationalization" means do they?
DUmmies have bought hook line and sinker the lie that "nationalization" simply means getting even with the folks that have more than they do.
It doesn't happen, this "getting even" stuff.
In 1948, Great Britain nationalized the steel industry, merely so as to save jobs. The British steel industry had become notoriously inefficient, and taxation policies at the time discouraged investment for modernization. But there were lots and lots of jobs at stake. So the British then-socialist government nationalized the steel industry, paying investors, who wanted to get rid of the lemons anyway, every penny on the pound for it.
Ultimately, of course, the jobs in steel withered away.
About ten years before that, circa the late 1930s, the Mexican government nationalized the petroleum industry, and while they didn't pay the foreign oil companies full price for the properties, they paid a goodly sum.
The idea was that Mexicans would benefit from nationalized oil.
Some Mexicans did; the uppermost 1% of Mexicans, those in the government and with "connections" waxing fat and prosperous. It was sort of like giving Barney Frank a bunch of banks, which he used to dole out favors for friends and bedmates, to the exclusion of "the people."
One is hard-pressed to find an "average" Mexican who profited from nationalization.
