I am wondering if the flag with stars arranged in the shape of a star was also considered questionable? There was quite a bit of blue, but the inside of the star looked like it was filled with more stars.BTW, they didn't fly it all day, so I wonder if someone brought it to their attention?https://www.newsweek.com/betsy-ross-flag-meaning-history-racist-1447174
Ryan Dalton@capetownbrownUm. You know those 13 stars represent the 13 colonies? And that flag was first used in 1792? I think it’s safe to say it was *always* used by white supremacists, not just appropriated by current ones.
bobS4 July, 2019Betsy Ross was a Quaker. Quakers (Society of Friends) believed in the abolition of slavery since their creation in the 1650's. Ross was also from Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania abolished slavery in 1780."An Act for the Gradual Abolition of Slavery, passed by the Pennsylvania legislature on 1 March 1780, prescribed an end for slavery in Pennsylvania. It was the first act abolishing slavery in the course of human history to be adopted by a democracy."people should actually learn some history

Thank you very much.I never saw the flag unfurled, but it could be the 20 star Michigan flag, or the 32 star Minnesota flag.I was just wondering, if racists are repurposing the Betsy Ross flag to symbolize a time they relate to, why wouldn't they take it a step further and fly a flag when their state joined the United States?I wouldn't assume the worst of this house, except a neighbor warned me years ago that their patriarch used the "n" word and they behave in exactly that kind of way where they assume land takings.
The objective meaning of "White Supremacist" has become "People I Want to Hate."
