A really simple fact to keep in mind and keep at the fore of the American consciousness
The suffering due to the Coronavirus Covid-19 is the direct result of the abject failure of Donald Trump.
That is a fact.
It is also true that the failure could have been mitigated or even prevented were it not for his GOP enablers.
Stupidly false, unsurprising from
Stinker.
Some easily documented facts, chronologically:
1. Doctors in Wuhan knew before or around December 10, 2019 that they were seeing an outbreak of something new.
2. Doctors in Wuhan were warning each other on or before December 25, 2019 to take precautions against being infected while working with patients with certain specific symptoms. They knew doctor-patient transmission had probably happened.
3. At least one biological lab in Wuhan had sequenced the DNA of what is now called the SARS-CoV-2 virus by December 29, 2019.
4. News of the Wuhan outbreak was
leaked out of China on 12/31/2019.
5. The DNA sequence of the virus
critical to developing diagnostic tests and vaccines was
leaked out of China on 1/10/2020.
6. After denying almost daily from 12/31/2019 onward that there was evidence of human-human transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, on January 20, 2020 China and WHO acknowledged it had happened.
7. Domestic travel out of Hubei Province was finally shut down 1/23/2020, but China still encouraged its air carriers to fly internationally at least through February 4, 2020.
Putting all this together, China, with help from its running dog WHO, deceived the world about the existence and the seriousness of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and encouraged spreading the virus outside of China for at least two weeks after it shut down domestic travel from Hubei Province. There is strong evidence, from blood collected at mid December 2019 and early January Red Cross blood drives, that the SARS-CoV-2 virus was already circulating in the US in late November or early December, weeks before the existence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus was known outside of China.
