President Donald Trump didn’t exert pressure or offer anything in exchange when he asked Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky to probe the dealings of former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, according to a transcript of a call between the two leaders released by the White House on Sept. 25.

During the call, which took place on the morning of July 25, Zelensky was the first to bring up Rudy Giuliani, the Trump attorney who had looked into the Ukrainian business dealings of Hunter Biden. In response, Trump noted that Giuliani is a “respected man” and told Zelensky that he would like to have Giuliani call him.

Trump then referred to videotaped comments, in which Joe Biden describes how—while serving as vice president—he forced the termination of a top Ukrainian prosecutor by threatening to withhold U.S. loans. The prosecutor was allegedly investigating Burisma, the gas company where Hunter Biden served on the board of directors.

But the Leftists rant and rave that the mere ACT of Trump mentioning Biden's own quid pro quo and requesting - not demanding - that Zelensky take a look at that whole thing. They scream that this is the stuff impeachments are made of. 

Beck says (and he's right) that there is $1.8 billion in loan guarantees that went out to this gas company in the Ukraine. That money disappeared into a bank owned by the "oligarch" (Beck's term) and has not been accounted for since, except for the $50,000 per MONTH that Hunter Biden was "earning." (Hunter Biden was "employed" by this gas company at that time -- can anyone tell me what Hunter Biden knows about the f'n gas industry?)

Beck isn't necessarily looked upon favorably here in CC, but I've seen Biden's tape and the way he described "his assignment." I think Beck is probing where the Leftists don't want to probe because the finger points right to Biden and Barry.

The original claim was that Trump threatened to withhold foreign aid if the investigation was not re-opened. That didn't happen.

Then claim became Trump arm-twisted the Ukrainian President. That didn't happen.

Now the claim is that the mere mention of Biden's name is somehow ... criminal? a Mafia-like hit assignment?

And then there's the Dems and media shills who have pounced on the words, "Do me a favor". Anyone who reads that with the least bit of context will see that they were not talking about any Biden or anything in which any Biden was involved.

The stupid and lies are flowing freely from the Dems and their media shills, and this transcript is not like the 500-page Mueller report. It's 5 pages, very far from tl;dr. Their lies and stupid will be seen clearly by many Americans.

Agreed for the most part, Pete. Especially about the lies and the stupid flowing from the Left and the MSM. But I'm not convinced that those lies and the amount of stupid will be seen by anybody except those who are rational and otherwise capable of critical thinking.
