I always thought a good coup involved some shooting and killing.....it ain't gonna happen with the Obama crowd....to cowardly.
I agree and disagree. We can't compare DUmmies to real leftists. There are serious numbers brainwashed by the educators who can make an army if Obama chooses. The inner city animals will be a deadly distraction, they cannot be counted on to make disciplined troops...and shooting sideways doesn't hit a thang, cracker. The army of the left may even target the inner city first in order to garner support.

Where I do agree with you is people are not willing to die for Obama. Hillary is the real threat. She is the one to coalesce the murderous minions. Obama set the groundwork. He'll get a nice statue with the revolutionary figures, but his usefulness is over, he hasn't realized it yet.

Thing of it is, given how bold they have gotten lately. What with a socialist president, a media machine that turns a blind eye to anything heinous concerning liberal actions. Attack on religion (oops, sorry. I meant just Christians). The relentless attempts at gun  grabbing and so on and so forth. I can see them in the near future actually attempting an overthrow.

There's a good book out about that very scenario.  I cannot remember the title.  Read excerpts on a website.  Let's just say it doesn't work out too well for the leftists.  Execution by firing squad, leftist government toadies assassinated by snipers left and right.  The Marxists, so arrogant and smug, wondering what went wrong, as they are awaiting execution, etc.....

I smiled.  A lot.   :-)

Liberal thinking is a two-legged stool and magical thinking is one of the legs, the other is a combination of self-loating and misanthropy.  To understand it, you would have to be able to sit on that stool while juggling two elephants, an anvil and a fragmentation grenade, sans pin.

When you remember the name of it, please let me know.
"We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and then bid the geldings to be fruitful."

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

John C Calhoun, "Disquisition on Government", 1840

Unintended Consequences sounds pretty similar to what was described.  Janet Reno getting popped was a condition to stop iirc.  I haven't read it in years.  I remember liking it overall, but it is more libertarian than conservative.
