I clean up "Stinky treats" from the cat, but otherwise, they also are used as trash bags.

I use them as trash bags, too.  They're all I use.  Walmart bags are the best.

Only thing wrong with them is that they're blue. It seems like DUmmies would shop at Walmart just to get the bags.

Whenever we're asked paper or plastic at the store I always say "Paper, so I can kill a few more trees by not recycling." I laugh maniacally as we leave the store.

Where do you live?  We only have plastic at our stores.  I loved getting paper bags way back in the day.

Those freaking reusable bags are a joke....every one I have seen that is not brand new is full of second hand smoke, sticky stuff (from food, I hope????) and I am sure there is some cross contamination going on inside the bag.

I understand some older customers simply like the bags because they are easier to carry to the vehicle and inside the house when they get home, as they are more sturdy and have better handles.

 I seen one set of the reusable bags that was covered in pet hair and I about puked right there......

In our warmer climate customers like to use them when they purchase milk, ice cream, or even ice. Those crappy plastic bags always have to be doubled and when they get heavy they cut off the circulation in your fingers when you are trying to get your front door opened with bags of food in your hand.  :-)

I'm pretty sure Smith's still has paper.

When I do my shopping and my mother's at the same time, I used to have them use paper for her stuff, plastic for mine. It made it easier when I had to deliver the stuff to her.

Had that really happened that little idiot wouldn't have her job very long. It's not her job to lecture people, especially those who are spending money in the store, thus insuring there are jobs available. She's there to provide customer service, NOT lecture people who have a helluva lot more life experience than her. I'd talk to the manager if she tried that crap with me.

The bottom section of the old telescoping antenna's were the perfect size for a .22 round. We used them to make zip guns. The newer plastic/nylon ones are only good for those who are into B&D.

Wal-Mart here has white with blue small bags and the bigger ones are gray with blue. Publix still has the paper or plastic thing going on. Wal-Mart also has paper freezer bags to put your icecream stuff in.

Glass breaks easily!

My Albertson's separated two glass liter bottles of unsweetened ice tea with a paper bag yesterday so they did not break on the way home. That was nice of them. I didn't hear any trees cry.
