I had a coupon for a free Dr. Pepper 10 when they first came out.  It was so-so.  It tasted kind of like Dr. Pepper, but I need the real thing.  If I'm drinking Dr. Pepper, I want the 150 calories (can) or 250 calories (bottle).  Maybe Dr. Pepper 10 didn't taste good to me because I am a woman.

Or it could be because you're conservative and Dr. Pepper  10 is marketed at the metrosexuals that need any little thing to prove their masculinity.  Me, I drink Diet Coke when I do drink soda, but it isn't often, and don't hide it.

I've heard their commercials several times now, and every time I get more and more disgusted.

What the hell is this?

I understand that they are trying to expand their customer base and cater to men who don't think diet soft drinks are macho - or whatever 

But I cannot recall any soft drink or beer or wine or any beverage commercial that proclaimed "It's not for men".

Because I am a woman, am I not supposed to try it?

Seriously - wtf!?!

I usually drink diet coke also, when I drink soda, which is hardly ever. I drink nothing but water most times. When I am at a restaurant, I get water with lemon.

Later, there was Jolt Lite.  It had like 30 calories.  With the surge of these newer "higher calorie" drinks, it would appear Jolt was ahead of it's time.
