Nutbag-nadins LBN thread gets locked, she throws a fit

She tried to pass off her latest screed in East County Magazine as LBN, gets all butt-hurt when her thread is locked:

Ok I want to know what constitutes LBN per du
Apparently challenging the municipal code and actually filing with the city clerk is a feature article.

So for my future reference LBN has reached the if it bleeds it leads standard? I guess car chases, shootings and rumors of war are ok, but boring procedural shit that news papers used to cover is not news? I just want clarification. I mean to me an organized challenge to a broad city code, which includes filing with the city clerk is news, but apparently not to the hosts.

Just want clarification...LBN is just for crunchy candy and not boring procedural shit.

And I want to know if we only should post what is candy in the news...it will give you a sugar high, but it's far from nutritious.

In fact I'd like to remove the whole thread from LBN. I mean it might pollute minds.

Encroachment. Should be in the June ballot. From now on only car crashes. That's what people consider LBN. Procedural shit like this used to be covered, it it bleeds it leads. Sorry if I am saddened at this point for this country.

I guess challenging a muni code is just not news. Got it.

After all we both know car chases are of national significance.

I would think free speech would. But you are right. Thanks, from now on LBN is the national police blotter.

Where news is crunchy, very sweet, might even give you a sugar high, nut not nutritious.

Got it, will not make that mistake again.

I should not be shocked given the state of the media, to be honest. I just thought, mistakenly, that we were slightly above police blotter. Won't make that mistake again. Now I know the standard, which sadly is the same as most of the papers of record.

But apparently I am mistaken. Don't worry, won't make that mistake again. I mean car chases and fires make it there regularly. I guess it is now the national police blotter.

I got that clarification...that's good. Won't make that mistake of confusing free speech with actual important.

Oh well.

LBN = national police blotter.

Feel free to post to California forum. I am done.

What an insufferable bitch, we can only hope that she really is done.

How long has Nads been a member at DU? My memories of her only extend to this year.

I've found some of her posts from as early as '04, I guess she didn't really ratchet up the crazy until recently.

The minutae of a local San Diego municipal code, she puts in Breaking News?   :mental:  Does she not have any sense of the appropriate?  Where this belongs, is in a San Diego forum, like the local paper's website.  And then she goes on and on about crunchy candy, repeating herself ad nauseum.

I also find that interesting.  As primitives who rise to the top are exposed and burn out or get the boot, there's always some nutter in the wings waiting to step in.  They've been posting there for a while often, but you don't notice them until the noise of the other kooks are quieted.

Need to make note that the article she posted in LBN was one she wrote.  Now she wants to be featured along side the writers of the mainstream liberal media.  This was her vain attmept to vault herself to that status, which was shot down before anyone even commented.

:lmao: That's simply fantastic. I can't think of a word for how absolutely STUPID she is, so I'll simply say: Supercalifragilisticexpialadocious.

It hurts to read what she writes sometimes. Hopefully, I won't be making that mistake again. :-)

Oh, and if you're reading this, NadaBrain, what YOU write is the "crunchy candy" that gives children tooth decay, and diabetes when they get older. I hope you're happy.

28. I feel like I've been had

I just checked the article itself and there is the byline, big as day. So THAT'S what this is all about?

I was confused by the arguments the OP was making, since they seemed to make very little sense at all and any attempts to address those concerns were being met with even more bizarre accusations about the shallowness of what is considered LBN. I was really struggling to get my mind around just what the issue was, only to find out that it was just basic human ego.

I am embarrassed that I took this seriously.

Dude, we are TOTALLY at fault for that.  We gave her an award without taking into consideration the full potential ramifications of our actions.

We will atone for that sin to humanity.
