Best family Thaksgiving story ever.
I could make you guys waste your time by reading a lot of backstory here. Let's cut to the chase.

My sisters and I are now the "older generatiton". The aunts, uncles, and grandparents. I'm the family "lefty". First get together in a couple of years for obvious reasons. The last time was the Kavanaugh hearings. My sisters all have 2 brain cells that rub together, so they're still in the "can form rational thoughts" Republican camp, but still...

So I walk out to the living room in my normal morning pre-coffee fog, and my straight as an arrow, Republican even through Nixon, voted for Trump, brother-in-law has (wait for it) MSNBC on. I tell him I'm surprised, but proud of him, and he says, "They're smart and tell the truth." And then later in the day, we went to a CBD dispensary and got him some stuff for his chronic pain.

The scales are falling, friends. We really need to have confidence and hang tight.

Rock-ribbed Repub of 50 years suddenly stricken by a childlike trust and admiration for the most dishonest, commie-luvin' channel in the MSM.

Sorry, I can only award one  :stoner:. No cops, bushes, shamed silences or cheering onlookers.

The last time was the Kavanaugh hearings.

Who marks the timing of family events by relating to a SCOTUS confirmation hearing?

Then my wife Morgan Fairchild came out wearing nothing but high heels..
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

'Choppergate'

During the January 30, 2015, NBC Nightly News broadcast, Brian Williams referred to "a terrible moment a dozen years back during the invasion of Iraq when the helicopter we were traveling in was forced down after being hit by an RPG." Williams later said he was not in the the helicopter that was hit by an RPG, but in a helicopter direclty behind it. The pilots of Williams' helicopter say their chopper was not directly behind the hit Chinook, but in a different company altogether.

SEAL Team 6

During the May 3, 2011, NBC Nightly News broadcast, Williams said that he had "the great honor of flying into Baghdad with [SEAL Team 6] at the start of the war." A Special Operations Command spokesman has told Huffington Post: "We do not embed journalists with this or any other unit that conducts counter-terrorism missions."

The Berlin Wall

At a 2008 forum at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, Williams said that he "was at the Brandenburg Gate the night the [Berlin] wall came down." As CNN reports, "'the night the wall came down' is widely recognized as November 9, 1989. ... An NBC News source in a position to know confirmed to CNNMoney that "Brian arrived the day after the wall came down."

BWAHAHAHAHA!!!

I've walked in to find my 76 year-old longtime republican dad watching snippets of Chris Cuomo, Don Lemon, and Rachel Maddow.

They did not change his mind.
