I see the DU Bullies have Nadinbrazinski in their sights.

There is a group in DU that do nothing but alert and hide and lock and ridicule. They love nothing better than to get someone PPR'd and then they gravedance. The bullies are after Nadin now.

Some of these bullies are well meaning but most are outright bullies. It's easy to be a bully when you are anonymous.

Too long of a thread to bring the whole thing over here, so only a few comments, selected at random:

3. Nadin is a Sweetheart

.. and I wish her all the best.

Quote
Blue_AK (286 posts)    Sat Jun 28, 2014, 12:27 AM

4. They've been ruthless with her for a long, long time.

I don't know how she puts up with it.

Quote
Cliqueclaque (2,029 posts)    Sat Jun 28, 2014, 12:34 AM

6. Not to excuse the way some people treat Nadine

But she does make it difficult to like her if you disagree with her in any way.

Quote
Attila Gorilla (1,094 posts)    Sat Jun 28, 2014, 01:17 AM

21. True.

They go overboard stalking her but she's addicted to the attention. It's pretty much a draw.

Quote
Graniteman (618 posts)    Sat Jun 28, 2014, 08:20 AM

26. Spot on.

I've seen her blow up at more than one person who wouldn't submit 100% to her views.

Whether she's currently being targeted by one of the hit squads over there, I wouldn't know or care, I rarely even open the link to that site anymore, it just plain sucks because of a few very crappy people.

Lars1701c (69 posts)    Sat Jun 28, 2014, 12:35 AM

7. I would love for her to come over here and

be exposed as the fraud she is. Is there anything she doesn't know? She's too afraid to come here and be righteously mocked

Quote
TotallyNotNuclearDem (507 posts)    Sat Jun 28, 2014, 12:44 AM

8. What the **** has Nadine ever done to you?

Jesus Christ, you, Frank, and the rest of the CC/CU crowd are some of the most pathetic, vile and cowardly shitstains I've ever had the displeasure of meeting.

<<<could be wrong, but gets the idea ^^^the primitive doesn't like us.

Quote
Lars1701c (69 posts)    Sat Jun 28, 2014, 12:48 AM

9. BECAUSE

She is a BLOWHARD, she knows EVERYTHING and since you can't refute her (especially if done from a conservative viewpoint) on DU that kind of draws people ire. Funny never met you in real life but if i said something stupid or wrong I am sure you'd like the ability to refute it.

Quote
TotallyNotNuclearDem (507 posts)    Sat Jun 28, 2014, 12:51 AM

12. Or maybe you just mind your own ****ing business.

Or keep this shit over at CU/CC where it belongs.

If Nadine bothers you so ****ing much, then stop stalk-reading DU.

^^^the primitive has the totally wrong idea.

Totally.

The cousin doesn't "bother" us, any more than ripened ready-to-pick cherries bother cherry-pickers.

The cousin's provided so much top-notch inventory for the DUmpster, so much comedy material, that she's a must-read for all decent and civilized people.

What bothers us is apparently we're going to have a shortage of that inventory for a while.

Quote
Lars1701c (69 posts)    Sat Jun 28, 2014, 12:53 AM

14. Who are you to tell anyone what to do?

if SHE doesn't want to be refuted then she can shut up.

Quote
TotallyNotNuclearDem (507 posts)    Sat Jun 28, 2014, 12:55 AM

18. Or you can just let it the **** go.

You can just stop ****ing reading DU.

<<<has better solution.

The primitives can stop making stupid comments, after which decent and civilized people won't find anything amusing about them any more, and stop reading DU.

Quote
MeatSandwich (299 posts)    Sat Jun 28, 2014, 12:51 AM

11. Well, she did put me on ignore at DU because I disagreed with her on a labor issue.

That's not saying she's a bad person, per se. She's just very sensitive to criticism or opposing views.

JakeCrane (99 posts)    Sat Jun 28, 2014, 12:52 AM

13. I've had a few pleasant interactions with her on DU

But only if I agree with her, disagree and she can be an obnoxiously rude person. The problem is that she is usually wrong or just doesn't understand the subject matter. I think her English is much worse than most people realize, and that she doesn't comprehend most of what she reads but she is too arrogant to ask for clarification. I don't blame others for getting tired of her bullshit.

Quote
HerasHeaddress (270 posts)    Sat Jun 28, 2014, 06:08 AM

23. Maybe, maybe not.

There are bullies at DU, but Nadin is just as insufferable. If she didn't enjoy the interaction she wouldn't continue engaging them. If she hadn't engaged them she wouldn't have had the hides after the Spoiler OP. If they didn't enjoy it they'd put her on ignore.

I can't work up any pity for her. I've witnessed her be a complete ass towards others and been her target more than once.

Quote
toast-chef (842 posts)    Sat Jun 28, 2014, 08:21 AM

27. She's no victim.

If you disagree with her and present facts to back up your claim, she comes back with snark. She will then either claim that you are a stalker and she's a "victim" or she slaps you on "iggy".

The problem here isn't the jury system. The problem is you. Sometimes it takes a while, but eventually most DUers figure out how to get along with other DUers. My suggestion is that you try to do it too."

That was a reply to nadin in ATA*. The DU admins have been dealing with her for well over a decade. She has a long history of disruptive behavior. Some people just have a very low tolerance for her kind of shit-stirring.

Not sure. Perhaps DU has a hidden garden where corn and celery are grown. Maybe nads had been writing screeds on the corn and celery stalks with some sort of non-environmentally safe marker.

You know, the primitives have a really weird definition of "stalking."

For the person of average and better sophistication, "stalking" suggests watching someone so as to interfere with, or obstruct, that person in real life.

Trust me, no one interferes with nadin being nadin; no one puts out any obstacles to trip her up in being herself.

For the primitives, "stalking" suggests merely reading something someone's written.

131. Now I have to clear this

hi by the way.

But that is slander. Not only have I never been a mod, host, or mirt member, but I posted in HOF twice, ran from the group and have it on complete and totally hidden. The group, like the Gun Rights Group and the Barak Obama group are mostly hidden.

I was not planing to come play here. but this is an outright lie, and unless that happened in an alternate DU I was not aware off (is that the other Shoeringer cat?, and is the kitty alive or dead?), definitely not aware of it... I have never done any of what you claim.

SO is that slander? Nah, but that is a lie. Will you apologize, of course not. Like the one who claimed i started most of the Meta Threads. No I did not. I started a few of them.

Have a good in that land of yours, but I wanted to get the record straight.

Oh and before you ask me to prove I am who I am, a favorite tactic, suffice to say, the monker I chose here, is older than DU, and it goes back to Usenet.

Now back to reading the pack of lies you guys are up to.

Nadin defends her Fencing expert post and claims she was selected for the NATIONAL TEAM!
Quote
Nadinb (9 posts)
Tell me exactly where I wrote I was a fencing master. I wrote I fenced at a high level, which I did. I also said a generation ago, which is accurate. Actually at this point it is probably two.

Hey, I still have my foil, and you can contact the Centro Deportivo Israelita in Mexico City and enquire if they had a fencing team, trained by Professor Fajardo (RIP, good man) in Mexico CIty back in the 1980s. I do not guarantee they have those records any longer.

You can also ask while you are at it, if they had teams represent Mexico at the Macabee Games in Israel, in fact, you can ask them if they still do, albeit not for fencing.

0115255 52 55 5395 9853

The address, in case you want to do this the old fashioned way...

Bulevard Manuel Ávila Camacho 620, 53390 Naucalpan de Juárez, Estado de México, Mexico

And the web link

http://md.increarte.com/index.php/intituciones-completas/centro-deportivo-israelita

Hell, here is a recent flag granting ceremony for the Sao Paolo Games in 2011..; I hope your spanish is good

http://www.enlacejudio.com/2011/12/21/abandera-el-cdi-a-la-delegacion-que-partira-rumbo-a-sao-paulo-2011/

And here, the Archery team coming back from Israel in 2013

http://www.enlacejudio.com/2013/08/29/arqueros-campeones-vuelven-de-la-macabiada-israel-2013/

They even won Medals.

I think that if I was making this up, this would be way too many details.

And to my surprise, they now have a fencing team again

http://www.tupatrocinio.com/patrocinio.cfm/proyecto/4893030051854695065556850664568.html

Would you like me to tell you why I no longer fence at that level, and why I never ended up going to the Macabe games when I was 15? I will bother telling you. I had a major knee injury, and it was one of the most traumatic events as a teen, since I was selected for the National Team. To be selected you have to be fencing a high level. At 15, no matter how good you are, you do not achieve master level. As Professor Fajardo told us, being a master in Fencing is a life time effort, and a state of mind.

For the record, he did fence at one point at the Olympic level. Oh and since you are an expert, you will understand this, the school I learned was the Italian school.
Quote
159. So you were a fencing expert until you took an arrow to the knee?

You also keep misconstruing what you are told. Where exactly did I say I took an arrow to the knee? I said I had a bad knee injury. Do you understand the difference in what that means? And I would like you to exactly quote me word by word from that post. I will be waiting.

Also my injury happened in 1980, the team I am talking about was in Israel in 2013. So unless that was a time traveling arrow... you should write some fiction here. I recommend as a tittle "The Arrow that Went Through Time."

So she grew up in Mexico, married into US citizenship and was selected for Israel's national fencing team. Whats so hard to believe?

BUT the wound to her knee kept her out of the sport she loved, but it didn't stop her mountain climbing, dodging bullets in a nameless war torn city as a knife wielding paramedic, or any of the other sports she outclasses us in.

Imagine a wheelbarrow, post hole diggers, a bag of concrete, some chain link and fence posts.

194. Hubby fenced for UC Riverside

he is a left hand... hardest thing you will ever do.

We went to RenFair, where they were having the fencing exhibit.

The guy doing the demo, started with, I do not kid, "this is your pointy thing." That pissed him off, So as he put the foil in his left hand... he told this guy "en garde," and proceeded to defoil him...

Then the guy fenced me, and mine was more wrist technique, and defoiled him by using that fine Italian school I learned. Pointy thing went flying twice. Then ;hubby and I went at each other and people were amazed at what we were doing. It was not Errol Flynn, it was straight American brute force, vs, Italian finery. The hardest three minutes we have had, we went full tilt.
