With Pitt renting, living, and drinking in Boston, DUmmy Jane was draining the family bank account at a fearsome pace.

Then she has the expense of bankrolling the "Truthout" blog and its stable of misfits, in order for Bill to have a place to post his comical rants.

And now the useless drunken Will has taken on a tattooed bride and a whelp.

I suspect that barrel of trust money, earned mid-century by long-dead working Pitts, is getting much lighter.

DUmmy Raven isn't looking good. If born in 1945, she hasn't aged well at all.

For all we know she's as much a drunkard as Bill.

But the drunken Will is rapidly approaching borrowed time.

It's extremely rare, nigh impossible, for an obese, sedentary alcoholic to die of old age.

There's a much better than even chance that DUmmy Raven, despite her already-decrepit condition, will survive her drunken offspring.

If she doesn't, it's still a win-win proposition.
 

An acquaintance of years past was a Trustifarian  perhaps in a similar situation.  His mommy dearest could throw 'em back with the best of them preferring to go on benders for weeks at a time.  She would hole up and order her booze to be picked up and delivered by a cabbie. His money was tied to hers as he was only a step son.  Needless to say he encouraged her behavior in the belief that she couldn't go on forever.  She didn't.  He finally got his hands on the full amount and he promptly put it up his nose.   I would say it is amazing how much the body can take but eventually alcohol will win, whether a slip and fall, or cirrhosis or the liver.  Ditto for dope in all its forms.

I know of someone who died of a bacon overdose (no really).
