How do they get high?  I take percocets and fentanyl.  How does one get high off of these because I have never felt any different on them.  No buzz or anything.

They are not used as intended. There are several ways people do this. I won't go into it here.

His brother ended up with the house.

The overpass by the offramp will just have to suffice then.

His brother had a "lot number" listed in the link to the obituary that was posted online by Stewart.
He claimed that his brother had money in his father's house, so the house was left to his brother. He was making payments to his brother so he could live there. I am sure his family is getting tired of him also.

Well, yet another day in November's passed, and Ol' stew's still stuck at $100.

By the way I thought of something else; as I'm not familiar with the aluminum-can business, it took a while.

Does Illinois by chance have one of those deposits on cans, where one gets five cents apiece when one turns them in to a store?  If so, Ol' stew can get a better price for cans he picks up that way, rather than just selling them by the pound.

Only twenty cans for a buck, as compared with circa twenty-four cans for forty cents.

Aluminum cans....our Scout troop has a trailer out front that people put bags of aluminum cans in. It's about 6' x 8' and 8' high, chained and locked to a post. They had to put barbed wire around the top to keep people from stealing the cans. Small time scrap dealer pulls it 90 miles round trip when full for half the money and the scouts get $200+ dollars every time.

No, they sure don't, frank.

If he gathers enough of them, he could take them to Michigan where he can get 10 cents a can.

That was a great episode.

It also reminds me of when Beavis and Butthead counterfeited nickels on a Xerox machine, paying ten cents a copy.

I was on Percocet after my hernia surgery and I hate to admit it, but I can see how people get hooked. They gave me a nice buzz.

I could never get hooked on drugs.  Even one Advil makes me light headed.  Anything stronger either tears up my stomach or makes me barf.

Same here except it was Percodan.  I was on it 3 weeks after wisdom teeth extraction due to dry sockets.  It made me feel fabulous.  Put it this way, after three weeks, my husband literally burst into tears and begged me to leave him alone and let him sleep.  I had another week left, but decided discretion might be the better part of valor and threw the rest away.

I've been on them a few more times, and oxycodone once, since then due to surgeries.  I got off them ASAP because they made me feel so wonderful that i was afraid of becoming addicted.  What I hate to admit is that I didn't really want to throw them away and had to talk myself into it, but did because I knew I'd be tempted to take one sometime "just to feel good" and eventually trying to find out how to get more after those were gone.  :O

On the other hand, my Dad took Vicodin by the handfuls for 20 years due to extreme sciatica due to a botched back surgery.  After laser came out and he finally was able to get his back fixed, he never took another.  We were all dreading having to take him to rehab, but it didn't bother him a bit.  One difference might be that they didn't make him feel any differently.  They just sometimes dulled the pain to a tolerable level.

How can you say that, when it was the same episode where Jerry's car got stolen by his mechanic, and the travesty of JFK's golf clubs ?

This is how I feel.  I don't even take them/think about them unless I can't concentrate because my back starts hurting so bad.  So I hope that means I am not addicted to them.
