Lady Freedom Returns (5,850 posts)

Looks like I am taken off nights this week

Last edited Mon Sep 2, 2013, 12:54 AM USA/ET - Edit history (1)
I will be doing clean up from 10am-7pm.

They have a member that is coming from another store to take over for the other night timer we last Sat.

We lose the other crew member this Sat. and my last day is Sat. the 14th.

That will give me something like 21 days to make sure I have all lined out for the trip HOME!!!!!

ADD) the 10am-7pm will be only three days this week. Looks like they are cutting me down quick. Not that I was not expecting it mind you.

It finally sunk to the level of its competence.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

It sounds like the manager knows how to optimize the labor pool even with unsteady resources.

I'm actually kind of impressed.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Let me get this straight, this store only cleans its restrooms 3 days a week.   Who does the clean up the other 4 days of the week ???

Why a day shift for clean up, seems more logical to clean the freezers, floors, bathrooms at night, no customers to try to work around.

It's to keep her away from the cash register, Vesta. She stole $70 on one of her first days there.

Day shift so there is someone always there to watch her.

I really hope when she gets down there, she finds a job, gets off the public dole, and starts paying back what she's taken from others.
Well, I can dream, can't I?
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

She can use the knowledge that she garnered from her college degree in helping her to decide to use either Bon-Ami or Comet.

Let's just say that she came up 70 dollars short in her till the day before she received her bus ticket to AZ. Which they promptly took back from her check.

How many days did she work as a solo employee vs how many days was she in training?   It seems like she spent her entire career at the convenient store as a trainee and  zero days as a productive employee.

What? Someone whose drawer came up $70 short is given significantly fewer hours? I am shocked.
No, really a $70 shortage should have merited an instant termination. ****ing thief.

Sharp employer.  Keep her away from the register and Have her mucking out the heads and cleaning out the green scum that grows on the cooler floors.  With proper employer guidance she has found her place on the team.

She worked for the store for eight days, and then turned in her two weeks notice.
That was after two boyfriends berating her for doing nothing/being unemployed form years.

It seems her preferred lifestyle is to trade sex for room and board and do NOTHING to clean house or earn her keep. Every boyfriend ends up tossing her to the curb. Seen her picture, she isn't pretty enough for that pampered life. Hence, her plans for a bright future at the Tucson homeless shelter.

Reminds me of StellaBlue. Difference was that when she got kicked to the curb, she had to leave England. She became an undesirable.
