If Steve were mature enough to think like that, he would not be a socialist.

"open letter to Omaha Steve"

http://www.conservativecave.com/index.php/topic,78848.0

the pertinent part of which is

Quote
.....a long list of examples the past year and a half, where franksolich out of the goodness of his own heart and his sense of "oneness" with all Nebraskans, advised and counseled you to take a certain course of action so as to avoid perils and pitfalls.  Perils and pitfalls which I then described to you.

In every single case, no exceptions, you blithely ignored the advice and counsel so magnanimously offered by your fellow Nebraskan.....and promptly slid into those very same perils and pitfalls I'd described to you.

There are consequences to not paying attention to franksolich, Steve.

(boldness for emphasis added here.)

There are consequences to not paying attention to franksolich, and I suggest the big guy take heed of all that's in this letter.

That was hilarious,  :lmao:  Fawke em's belief that Steve has all the inside-baseball party intel.  He's not just a guy on an internet board.   :rotf:

Resurrected for Stevies sake.  :whistling:
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

*****UPDATE*****

*****UPDATE*****

*****UPDATE*****

OMAHA STEVE'S SECRET UNVEILED!

franksolich KNEW ALL ALONG!

KNEW IT WAS COMING!

BUT HARDLY CONSIDERED IT A "SECRET"!

IN FACT, NEVER EVEN CONSIDERED IT WORTH MENTIONING!

APPARENTLY ONLY A "SECRET" TO OMAHA STEVE?

Former U.S. Senator Charles Hagel (R-Nebraska) endorsed former U.S. Senator J. Robert Kerrey (D-Nebraska) in the 2012 senatorial contest here in Nebraska, in a last-ditch attempt by the Kerrey camp to boost sagging polls.

Whoop-whoop-de-do.

For the record, this was s-o-o-o-o-o expected I didn't even consider it one of the possibilities when trying to figure out the big guy's "secret."

The big guy's got a low threshhold for "secret."

It's all Kerrey's got too.

It ain't gonna help; nobody in Nebraska pays attention to Chuck Hagel any more.

As I recall, you called that a long time ago.
A few may fall for it. Hope not too many.
