Hi all,
I am new to this board, but used to be a participant at Free Conservatives. I spend much of my time at Secular Cafe and Free Ratio blasting progressives, liberals, neo-communists, crypto socialists, greens, and assorted fauna. Most of the time I am hated, but usually win (when they don't suspend me for being too direct and honest). But I am depressed, I cannot hear another regurgitation of left-wing bile...it is so wearing on someone who respects the gift of reasoning.
So in my misery I thought to land here. Like most of you I am stunned, but not surprised. Ann Coulter was alone in 2005 when she opposed Bush's nomination of Robert, warning that conservatives have had major blows in 'stealth' nominees like Souter, Kennedy, O'Connor, and now Roberts. Bush was a fool, and like most of those in his wing of the party (Sununu, McCain, Graham, etc.) they have done more to destroy conservatism than to keep it. Roberts has always been a bad choice, a person who refused to join the Federalist society and who spent a lifetime hiding his views.
So blame it on the Bush-bots, the Republican robots of the establishment that cooed over every imbecilic choice made by the amnesty-business-rino wing of the party. WE DID THIS TO OURSELVES.
So ya...I give up.
