White House preparing Executive Orders if HCR is struck down by Supreme Court

Valerie Jarrett, a senior adviser to President Obama, says that the White House “will be prepared” if the Supreme Court overturns all or part of the administration’s health care reform law, according to Politico.

Meanwhile, Marc Ambinder says that the White House is preparing executive orders if the law is struck down. “Their content and timing I don’t know. But they’ve got contingency plans a-plenty.”

Predictably, most of the DUmmies are cheering for this idea, and they give ideas for edicts to issue.

The DUmmies have a very short memory.  This is the sort of thing that caused them to call Bush a wannabe dictator, but now they seem to think it's ok.  They did not like recess appointments (now they do) or executive orders.

They do not have the capability to remember what they typed.

How can he put an executive order and push something through that the SCOTUS shoots down? He will be defying what they say. He will b breaking the law. He will be found in contempt and put in jail (We can only hope anyhow). He is so done in November.

All this because he knows if it is shot down there is no way he will ever get it passed again.

Well, at long last would that be an impeachable offense?  Where the **** is the limit?  Can zero just make an executive order making murder OK for him to do, so he could off his mother-in-law, or what?

I guess when you're working from the premise that the Constitution is a "fundamentally flawed document"...anything is possible.

I'm more scared of what he will try to do by executive fiat as a lame duck than I am the next four years if he is (God forbid) re-elected.

I just looked all over google and am finding nothing that states that he can do an executive order to force obamacare upon us once the SCOTUS shoots it down. I do know if he tries, he will seal his fate for November even more.

He is governing by executive fiat.  He had Napolitano tell Arizona to shove it, they don't give a damn what the SCOTUS says, they will NOT enforce immigration rules in AZ:

Nah. He's trying to do EVERYTHING in his power to sink us. To sink Capitalism. To sink the working man. To sink the United States of America into the abyss of the United States of Socialism. To make sure that if he can't put it all the way there, that he at least does a damn good job of not being able to bring it back to the glorious country we once were.

1. If he indeed does this, it's going to make Holder's executive order look like nothing at all.

2. If he does this, he should be thrown out of the WH IMMEDIATELY!

3. If he dos this, he should go up on charges of TREASON! The Supreme Court don't want it. The people don't want it. So it is going against america....TREASON!

4. Treason should be punishable by DEATH!

5. If he does this, and nothing is done to him, Occupy will seem like nothing. I have a feeling if this plays out like the article reads, everybody in this country is going to find out what a revolutino really is.

6, and finally. This guy has set black/white relations back a lot. Now, whenever decent, civilized people think of our first black president, they will think of a commie asshole. Which in turn, gets anger up, etc, etc.

We need a "first black president" do over.
