I wonder what happened here:

Someone spoke truth to power and told Twix what a douche he was for showing up to work drunk.

(that's just a guess)

Going to give up on this "work" thing and move in with family....oh brother.  I've seen some teenagers do dumb stuff, but this guy is a full grown "man" carbon-based life form with full grown children of his own.  I just cannot believe the irresponsibility and utter lack of understanding of consequences of some our citizens.  What the hell happened?  And it pisses me off because we've got to pay for the rest of them as they collect free ponies.  Coughing, wheezing, sickly ponies to be sure, but still free.

Austerity's coming, Twix.  Don't get too comfortable on the couch.

The way I see it the company caught a break and got rid of a worthless primitive.  Good riddance.

That's probably how the company sees it too.  They were just needing a good excuse.

got fired today
f*** my life. i have been in a major depression lately worried about bills and other disasters.

long story short i came to work drunk. i knew it was stupid, and honestly i haven't even had a drink in several years. just something about the way this year has gone. it seems like no matter how hard you try you always get screwed over in some way.

i'm just going to pass out for tonight. thank you for the understanding comments. i hope tomorrow will be a brighter day, but somehow i wonder about that. i think maybe i just wanted some me time for once. get my thoughts together and get some new direction in life.

i was working at whole foods and i was thinking it wouldn't be noticed and i could just get through another day. well at least i did when i was drinking beforehand. being a bit more sober now i realize that was pretty stupid. even a few years ago i never would have done something like that. i don't know what's happened to me these days.

Yet another difference between them and us.  If one of us came on here and whined about getting fired for coming into work drunk, he would have so many bitchslaps his head would spin.

Yeah, but those corporate suit bastards who write Whole Foods' business insurance policies get their silken panties in a wad when the EMPLOYEES show up intoxicated as well. [/DUmbass]

I don't even want to think about what would happen if I showed up to work drunk.  Hell, get a DUI on your own time and your job is in peril.

From what I've heard, jobs at Whole Foods are pretty good jobs.  I mean, have you heard about their health care plan?  I'm not sure the DUmmies ever talked about that.

I'd be kind of interested to find out WF's drug/alcohol policy--was twixvoy so shitfaced that SOMEONE HAD to say/do something and FORCE him to get a breathalyzer?

Sounds like he was just so obviously schnockered that they canned him immediately for that.  I would assume that TwixVoy left something out of this story, imagine that from a DUmmy.

I got a hunski that says the DUchebag showed up to work sober on pay day.  Of course he did not return after he got his ill gotten gains.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

f*** my life. i have been in a major depression lately worried about bills and other disasters.   (But, you "did" have a job though, right?! Now, you don't. Good luck with that.)

Now you don't. Also, by saying that you hadn't had a drink in years, makes me believe that you're an alcoholic.)

don't know what to do next really. i suppose i just try to find something else... but honestly years of this "work" thing hasn't gotten me anywhere. i'm about to just call it quits and move in with family and take break for a while. (HA HA! Good luck with trying to find a new job Dummie. Do you know how many people are unemployed? You screwed yourself. Maybe you didn't. Seems like you didn't take work seriously to begin with.)

no point to this post really. actually i'm pretty out of it. just another american who has worked for years and has nothing to show for it.   (Again, you "had" a job DUmmie. You do what you can do to make ends meet, legally. Maybe the Obozo can give you some of that "stash cash" earlier? lol But, seriously, don't worry DUmmie, the Obozo passed the "stimulus" bill, so the jobs are plentiful and the economy is booming. lol)

Man, I have been thinking and thinking about this dumb schmuck.  How messed up do you have to be to trash a gig at Whole Foods?  I am not saying they are lacksidaisical about their screening process.  I mean how messed up do you have to be to think that losing your job there is a good thing?  They have been consistently nominated for Fortune's Top 100 like a brazillion times or something.  In that industry (check out line) that is like the top of the food chain.

Remember that this was a DUmmy talking: they either lie or withhold the biggest part of the truth. My guess is that ****stick Twix hits the sauce pretty hard and was a shitty worker in general, although all it takes in alcohol on your breath ONCE to get fired from a job where the public is involved.

Also remember that this asshole thought he had the US economy pegged by looking down an aisle at Target once or twice. He told everyone to take all their money out of the market and buy gold, or buy foreign currency. Then he made a grand show of leaving the country. He beat everyone over the head with being in "management" at Target (hey asshole: any Target management worth listening to is based in Minneapolis), yet it turns out that he can't even keep an hourly job at a hippie grocery store.

Coming up soon: TwixVoy's trenchant observations on the unemployment rate, as determined by how many people are in line ahead of him at the welfare office.

He's going to need welfare, because they won't give him unemployment.  Not after being fired for being intoxicated at work.  At least I HOPE he doesn't get unemployment.
