Machines 'to match man by 2029'
By Helen Briggs
Science reporter, BBC News, Boston

Tiny machines could roam the body curing diseases
Machines will achieve human-level artificial intelligence by 2029, a leading US inventor has predicted.

Humanity is on the brink of advances that will see tiny robots implanted in people's brains to make them more intelligent, said Ray Kurzweil.

The engineer believes machines and humans will eventually merge through devices implanted in the body to boost intelligence and health.

Nanotechnology is one of those things I'm excited about.  THe things we'll be able to do with that will just simply be amazing.  Life expectancy will go through the roof I bet.

And i'm not to afraid of AI.  Given Sci-Fi's propensity to lead it to causing mankind being nearly wiped out, I'm sure they'll build enough safeties in it.

Well to support your point the way things are going we won't need any Terminators to ruin things for us when all we really need are enough Democrats and some  spineless Rinos to help them crash the economy.

AI truly concerns me and Naon tech could get scary if used the wrong way
