I have a small PayPal fundraiser. But we are doing better

Mom and I are doing better thanks to the generosity of DU and all the good advice I have gotten. But I had a very large bill late last year that ruined Christmas and I am still getting out from it. I want to make sure we continue to keep up with the utility bills and get other basic necessities. It is a $250 goal and I am already almost half way there. Here is the link:

https://www.paypal.com/pools/c/8QCgLP7lUP

It feels good to finally be getting out of such bad trouble due to the steps we are taking.

Oh. My. Goodness.

Starting out the year the right way I see. Lets see where this goes.

Doesn't he know he can raise that much in far less time if he'd grab a plastic bag and walk the roads picking up, and recycling, empty aluminum cans? At least that way, the $$ are honestly earned..

And he'd be saving da erf..

Clearly you're heartless. He has stated many times before, the road that leads from his Bungalow to the WaWa is way, way too dangerous.  :-)

1. Another thing - the fundraiser will be up a total of 30 days, but..

if you can, it is needed most now. Mom’s increased Social Security will help, and I am trying to get disability again.

Oh now. C'mon. All you DUmp inhabitants who got an SSI raise can afford to help float Matt and Mom. Stop being a bunch of penny pinchers. Matt wants his money, and he wants it now.

3. The reason I chose PayPal is..

The money gets there right away and the goal was so small. I am so glad I didn’t have to create another $1,500 goal. And then hopefully this is the last fundraiser of any kind. I greatly prefer to solve things on our own. The $100 that I got helped a lot - it bought mom’s medically necessary disposable underwear that we couldn’t afford among other things. Hoping to get the other part and then end the fundraiser.

Nobody asked why he chose PayPal. Mostly because there has only been 1 reply. But I have faith. The gullible will donate. Yes they will.

He's too lazy to even do this. He also already knows he's not eligible. The guy is a bum and refuses to work, it's that simple.
Unfortunately, it appears most of the DUmmies are sick of him.  I'd love to see him be able to extract thousands more from them, but it appears that ship may have sailed at this point. The man has no shame either, that's the cringe part of it all.

They see too much of themselves in him.
Every last one of them has at some point in the last 20+ years posted about how they've been forced to go to their eee-vil Rethuglikkkan relatives because they blew the rent money on weed or a Playstation or something equally useless. Every last one of them have used the exact same lies Matt uses on them to scam the money they "needed". And now they've looked into the abyss, see Matty boi and recognize themselves in his posts, they're uncomfortable with the conclusions Matt's panhandling forces them to draw about their own "trips to the well".

6. Kicking for visibility

Hope everyone is having a good MLK day

This is just getting pathetic. The begging.  :loser:

Meanwhile, MVD reminds me of somebody. Down in town, there is a corner, at a very busy shopping plaza, where beggars like to stand. I dont want to use the word "homeless" because I have my doubts. Anyways, one particular beggar, a woman, has stood at that corner for I damn well know, 10 years. For about the first 9 years, here sign read something like:

"Need a little help raising my grandchildren.."

She recently updated her sign:

"Need a little help with insulin cost.."

I just dont understand the idea that you would sell yourself so low, as to beg. On a street corner. Or in the case of MVD, the electronic street corner. All with the entitlement that "You people didnt get me anything for Christmas, so pay the piper" Now!

11. I'll leave this up a couple more days

I know it is a small fundraiser but I will further explain what happened. Had that large utility bill that got us in a hole. This month, had to pay the lawyer - who is defending the foreclosure on the house - double the payment for a skipped month from earlier. Had to pay my friend back. Food (which is one thing we have) is expensive, as is transportation when my friend can’t come. Mom has new medication that costs a bit more.

When we last checked in, Mattiboi was sinking lower then low. His fundraising had been dealt the death card. Nobody willing to donate.

Then, Mattiboi got an idea! Directly ask who at the DUmp is flush with cash, in the form of a Poll. We all know the DUmp Inhabitants love to participate in Polls and Vote, being the good little Democrats that they are.. In case you need a reminder:

https://www.democraticunderground.com/100217571423

After the dimwits volunteered the info for his poll, Mattiboi went back to his old thread, to give it another shot. He isnt willing to give up. Ill give him credit where credit is due. For someone so lazy, that he has to Uber over to the WAWA, across the street from his house, he sure is invested in this scam. I have never encountered someone willing to work so hard, to get out of working. Sure, I have had lazy-ass coworkers, usually Managers. But this grift of his takes the cake.

Just need the money until Wednesday.

According to Matt, If I recall, his Moms "Medically Necessary Underwear" and a new Medication... oh, and a Utility Bill put him behind. So, what happens on the 25th? Is the Utility going to be shut off? Is the Pharmacy going to reposess the Underwear?

22. You don't need $250 after all?

So wait-- now you are admitting you asked for more money than you needed???

There's something really not right here. You've taken thousands from DU people. You haven't appeared to act on anyone's advice and when this money grab sank like a rock you posted a strange poll demanding to know people's financial situation.

There is something off about all of this. Also, I think you've worn out your money requests here as evidenced by people have stopped giving. I'm not sure if you don't understand that or simply just don't care. I think it's the latter given the cringeworthy number of times you've kicked this.

So sorry to see that you’re still broke.

At least you have food, like you said in your OP.

Since this thread has zero recs, it’s apparent you’re not receiving any further monetary assistance from the good people here. Perhaps it’s time to look through your previous pleas for money and take a take action on the suggestions given to you.

Good luck to you!

19. Lyft

Your post mentions money for Lyft, have you enrolled in Logisticare. One of your last requests for money lots of people offered amazing advice. Logisticare is a free transport service for Medicaid recipients to get back and forth to medical appointments and also returns people home from the emergency room.
I imagine a lot of people are tired of the frequent requests and that’s a harsh reality. To be fair you have gotten a not insignificant amount of money from folks either through your multiple Gofundme campaigns and this PayPal one. I am afraid folks are feeling like it’s a grift I’m not saying you are anything other than honest but the constant monthly asking for cash seems kinda suspect.

20. Another suggestion for maximum financial

PayPal charges those donating a small fee. Since it appears you probably know your $100 donor in real life, since that money was given to you immediately after starting the PayPal campaign and before posting here— you should have asked that person to hand you $100 cash.

 :lmao:

If the internet has taught us anything in 2023, it's that the human anus, female or male, is a faster and more effective moneymaker than anything any person possesses. I suggest that this DUmmy either sells pictures of his on OnlyFans, and/or go out into the night and sell temporary use of it. Problem solved with cash the barrelhead.

I find it odd that Mattyboy thinks he has to get a bunch of things together before jumping aboard the social security disability gravy train.

That's not the way it works, Mattyboy.

One applies first, and then is told what is needed.

But given Biden's secret plans to cut both regular social security and the one for freeloaders who never paid into the system, it might not even be worth Mattyboy's time.

The gravy train's pulling out of the station.

I'm also now wondering about the paypal thing he has going on.
if I am remembering correctly, in the last episode, some of the DUmmies called and reported him to the gofund place, which in turn stirred up a whole rukkus with him that ended with his "mother" jumping on the thread and scolding the disbelievers. It was quite hilarious. I wonder if Gofund banned his thieving a$$ ?

I think he's just lazy. Poor money managers and most likely never saved, or squandered what they had rather quickly. I'm thinking they are probably in a place they can't afford, Matt refuses to work and uses any excuse he can to get out of it, expecting to live fat on his moms SS checks for as long as possible. If you read any of his other posts, you'll see that he's not smart enough for this game and reveals WAY too much about his poor spending habits, etc.  He won't even walk to the grocery store, and instead pays delivery services to bring it to him.  He claims he can't work because he has hearing loss, but then has no problem talking to people on the phone.  He's just a worthless  f$%ing bum and won't lift a finger to do anything but beg. And why wouldn't he? Poo-Pants Pam was railing on him last time and said he'd collected nearly 10 grand in gofund's in the past year @ DU, so now he thinks it's that easy. I also think he's an imbecile of sorts...  somewhat unaware of his accidental transparency.
And if my memory is good, seems like Poo-Pants Pam is one of them that reported him to gofund lat time.

And my question is this; if he's completely broke and says he only has $7 which is not enough for a ride to the store ... what good would the $5 'donation to get to the store' be?

I think it's all a game to him to see if he can drag them along to a goal.  I said above and I will say it again, this dude, if he's as aggressive in real life as he is on that board, would make one hell of a salesman.  He simply does not stop 'closing!'

62. I basically reached my goal so I can delete this now
Thank you very much to everyone. I will pay it forward when given the chance

And deleted. Mattiboi was definitely having the heat put on him. Guess whatever ill-gotten gains he did receive will have to tide him over till tomorrow. Evidently his mom's SSI will deposit.

I suspect another fundraiser soon. February is the month of love, after all.
