Is their regional coding on Blu-Ray players and dvds?  I'm about to order a couple movies from Europe, that aren't available in the states.

Yes they are region coded.

Region A:
- North America
- Central America
- South America
- Korea
- Japan
- South East Asia

Region B:
- Europe
- Middle East
- Africa
- Australia
- New Zealand

 Region C:
- Russia
- India
- China
- Rest of World
