the economic situation is hitting my company really hard.  I have been getting my ass kicked in budget meetings all week long.  I had a cold on tuesday, but through the miracle of modern medicine (also know as Nyquil), I am feeling much better now (obviously) :-).

so, what are y'all up to tonight?

Relaxing with some coffee and internets for a bit.

The Mancub decided he wanted to use his award certificate for Pizza Hut (School reading programs) so we drove into the smaller big city and had a sit down meal there.  Little SOB scarfed down half of my broccoli cheese soup! :-)

I wasn't in the pizza mood so much so I ordered some baked macaroni cheddar bacon thing and it actually turned out to be one of the best cheesy pasta things I have ever gotten in a restaurant. I am including some pretty high end Italian places in that generalization.  The stuff was like pasta crack.  :hyper:

Gonna watch Kung Fu Panda together in a bit with some pop corn. Having some one on one time with the Mancub is pretty cool sometimes. :)

It's foggy/misty/55 degrees here. And, I'm going out of town Thanksgiving week so month-end panic at work has arrived early. I'm also seriously considering duct tape as a coping mechanism. One of my team members has the WORST sense of time and total lack of focus. Getting her to help me resolve the issues I inherited is like nailing jello to a wall. "OMG!! Is that MY phone ringing?!??!" Then she bolts into HER office and gets sidetracked for an hour. Today, she promised to meet with me at 9am and then wandered in my office at 11:30 clueless as to why I was leaving for lunch. Oy!

Okay,  :drink: :cheersmate: :couch:  :beer: before this turns into a "Cryin in my beer" post.  :lmao:

I didn't realize how exhausted I was until I got home this evening, sat down in my recliner and promptly passed out.

I'll probably hit the sack by 8 p.m. Lordy, I'm pathetic.

I was still employed when I left today. But the environment in which I work in is now totally toxic. I hate it. Saw a freaking counselor because of it. I'm spent.

I'll take any pointers you can give.

Fog is as thick as pea friggin soup tonight on the NH Seacoast.  Maybe it'll be a bit better by the time I head out of here in an hour or so, but what the hell--I need an excuse to stop for a beverage on the way out. 

JUST ONE.  Cops here are cast-iron pricks when it comes to drinking/driving, and as well they should be.

It's the last warmish night around here for, probably a long long time. It's 55 now with a low tonight of 49 and a high tomorrow of 49, LOL.

Last night to have the windows open and a nice cross breeze. Think I'll have a drink and toast the Fall.  :cheersmate:

I have this theory, NHS, that aaron rogers is a stat whore.  he always goes 33-42 for 300 yards and a TD or two.  but he can't bring the packers back.  if brett favre was the QB last sunday against MN, he would have gone 22-60, with 4 INTs and a TD, but the TD would have come in the 4th qtr to win the game.
