Lord, help me!
« on: January 21, 2008, 05:34:14 PM »
My daughter is auditioning in Feb for a summer dance intensive in NY.  It's a 2, 3 or 6 week course.  Did I mention it is in NY? With the American Academy of Ballet?  And that is is about 1,000.00 bucks a week?

Oiy.  Not sure where the money would come from to send her, but I'd hate to deny her the opportunity.

Is there a "just shoot me now" smilie???

Wow that is impressive.  Do everything you can to make sure she can go.

Best of luck to her.

  • If I agree with you, then we'll both be wrong.

Congrats! Can she qualify for any type of scholarship money towards this program? What about a fundraiser between now and then?

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Agree with everyone else,Schade. Get her local dance club involved...perhaps they'd be willing to sponsor her or do a fundraiser for part of the funds. (your just 10 dollars away...sorry, couldn't resist :uhsure:) Seriously, though...I hope it works out. Your daughter sounds very talented the many times you've posted about her dancing.
