Thank you for fixing it.   :-)   What's the trick that I don't know?

When you want to embed a youtube video, position your cursor where you want it to go, and on the bottom row of "function buttons" the fifth one from the left is for youtube embeds.......if you hold your cursor over it, it will show you in text.  Click on the button, and copy the youtube link in the space provided, just like you would use the "quote" function.

I always "preview" it to make certain it works before posting.

Thanks so much.  Here's a try.

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/KaRrVqBhfYg&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/KaRrVqBhfYg&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Preview doesn't show the link, except in words.  Sorry - forgive me my ignorance.  I am a self-taught computer idiot.

Wrong link...

That is the section you copy and put between the YouTube brackets -- everything between the "v=" and the ampersand.

You should see something like this, but it will have the closing brackets on both ends of it.  Then paste the link from youtube inside.

It should look like this except I put spaces between the [ and youtube.

Well, hell's bells, I cannot do it.  Here's the URL link.

Doesn't that work ok? If not, I'll quit posting youtube stuff. :banghead:

Huh.  I didn't realize you could copy the entire URL.  I was only using the video ID and it still works.

Pasting the URL between the YouTube brackets works...

youtube=425,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaRrVqBhfYg[/youtube

You have to click this button first (http://www.conservativecave.com/Themes/babylon/images/bbc/youtube.gif)... you can't just copy a link and have it automatically work.  Maybe that's something we can fix at some point in the future.

Thanks so much for your very quick replies Chris - I really appreciate it!  I hope you at least got to hear that great song a time or two.   :cheersmate:
