Local Wendy's just installed a big screen TV!

Today we went to our local Wendy's and lo and behold they have installed a big screen TV. We asked the manager if she would please change the channel and she said that they had tried that and it only shows black on other stations. Faux News there, as big as life. Seven months before a big election and they plunk that thing in the dining room.

I called the operating manager and l let him know that I was upset about the addition and he asked me what I had against *ox News. I let him know that it wasn't news and that we found it offensive. He asked what channel I would like to see and I let him know that I wouldn't direct anyone to a particular station but if they were insistent on showing TV, the weather channel might be as useful as any this time of year.

He said that he would pass the info to the owners and I let him know that we would be back next week and if *ox was still on that would be it for us. Our other peace nic friends were in there and they too were disgusted. If the regulars quit coming maybe it will mean something. This is sad because up until now the restaurant had been a neighborhood gathering place.

My first question is, what is a peacenik hippie liberal and any of their friends doing at a Wendy's in the first place? I thought they ate only organic, free-range grub that they grow themselves or shoplift from Whole Foods.

I hate to break this to you, hippie, but the person with whom you spoke now needs new superior and inferior rectus muscles from over-rolling their eyes at your bullshit.

And they're probably tired of the piles of pubes you and the other patchouli partners leave on the bathroom floor.

I suspect twenty or so we sharing a small bag of fries and a cup of ice that they fill with water from the bathroom, while using the WiFi for hours on end.

So I went into the local Mexican restaurant yesterday. Always before they had FOXnews on the TV. This time they had CNN.

I called the manager over and asked why CNN was on instead of Fox. He said that some smelly hippy looking turd had shown up earlier and demanded that the TV be turned from Fox. He said that he had thought about just kicking the guy out because he never leaves a tip for the wait staff and is always bitching about something, but since business is so bad due to Obama's economy every dollar counts, even the couple the hippy spends on a taco, AND since normal people really don't give a damn what is on the TV he changed it.

By the way, everything past the third sentence, except for the part about the 0conomy, is as true as the DUmmie's story. The first three sentences are really true. I didn't say anything because I really don't care what is on the TV while I eat.

Solution HARDEES: I went in a Hardees in NC a couple of years ago and in each front corner of the dining area was a TV, one on FOX and one on CNN. Guess which one was getting watched the most?

I went to the Hardees in my neighborhood and they have thier own TV channel.  It's a nauseating mix of weather, Saturday-morning-style kid crap, Hardees promos, and really bad 'indie' music.

I had to go to the Doctors Office and they had The View on, thank God I didn't have to see Joy, but I did have to see Whoopie, I didn't complain.

Our businesses that have tv's around here just show the local stations. It is usually CBS. Unless it is a sports bar, then they show all the sports stations. Some have multiple tv's and have one tv always on ESPN and the others on whatever station the games are on.

The only thing missing from the set of that show is a boiling cauldron and a witches wart on each of the host's noses.

If you wanted to torture me, having to listen to them for five minutes would do the trick.

I went to my local firestone to get my car inspected and they had soap operas on. A garage playing The Bold and The Beautiful. Talk about different.

I went to my local porn shop and they had porn playing. But there was a TV on in the porno and it was tuned to Fox, so I guess all is well.

Come on if the restaurant is not busy they will change the station on request.  Walk into a food& bar and the station is on the weather Chanel and Nascar is on, no reason not to change it to the race.

Could get a punch in the nose up here if you ask the chanel be changed from Hockey or the Red Sox to the weather chanel.

I had a doctors appointment today and there was no TV in the waiting room. There never is. Beside, I am the 1% and have an iPhone and was listening to Paul Wescott on WGIR in New Hampshire.

Because I am not a dirty, filthy hippie, I can afford a device that lets me get everything I could want from anywhere in the world.

While I was waiting, I got a FNC alert from my FNC app that a bunch of dirty, filthy hippies in Ohio had been arrested for planning to blow up a bridge. My only thought at the time was, "Bad day for the DUmp-nics."

DUmpmonkeys have a hard time understanding that businesses don't exist to provide neighborhood gathering places.

If you can drive the deadbeats away by putting up a widescreen with Fox, every business in town will do it.

So... today I had to go to the dentist to get a check up. I noticed there was no TV in the lobby at all. I called up the owner and demanded that they install a TV and put it on MSNBC so that rethuglicans could get the truth. The owner turned out to be a cop who jumped out of the bushes with the new TV for the lobby. Once installed and tuned to MSNBC everyone in the lobby who had been a repig converted to communism and will be voting for Obama. One man was on his knees sobbing, so I asked him if he was ok. He thanked me for showing him the truth. He had been a life long repig until the moment when he got to watch MSNBC.
