Senate Bill Would Allow Prosecution of Bush for Iraq War
Senators Dick Durbin, Russ Feingold, and Patrick Leahy have introduced a bill in the United States Senate (S. 1346) ...
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x5960435...so on and so forth.
What follows are a couple dozen K&Rs uniformly lacking any real consideration of the issue at hand. What no one on that side every considers is:
1) the absolute lack of any evidence that Bush ordered the US military to engage in war crimes. I've been back in for 3+ years and have yet to get my army Field Manual on how to sodomize prisoners.
2) the claims of war crimes aren't even substantiated.
3) if congress has to make a law NOW that must mean there was no crime THEN
4) you cannot criminally charge someone
ex post facto5) the military that supposedly so willingly committed acts of "murder...kidnapping...aggravated sexual assault...torture...arbitrary detention..." now answers to their messiah
6) if any of these acts occurs under Obama he becomes liable unless he magically rehabilitated the military because I never recieved my army Field Manual telling me we will now be weilding pinwheels and rainbows as we ride in on Skittle shitting unicorns
