It's better than what most Soldiers get on deployment.
I would never have dreamed of such luxuries when I was in southeast asia.
Dropped into the HOT, sticky, Smelly jungle in the early am with a poncho (Great for building a lean-to), a rucksack that contained utensils, water tablets (iodine if I remember correctly) for purification and .... s#it I wouldn't feed my dog.
(otherwise known as c-rations)
No way you could carry a tent because of weight and an air conditioner was completely out of the question!
