I lost a dear friend suddenly yesterday.

Last edited Mon Nov 11, 2013, 10:12 AM USA/ET - Edit history (2)

I'd never had the opportunity to meet her face-to-face. I met her on the much derided Facebook through another friend. She lived on the other side of the world. A blythe spirit, a free spirit she danced lightly and brightly on the earth.

Oh brother.

A pagan and a mystic now obscured from us by the mists of her beloved Avalon.

Probably a middle-aged woman who hung on to the goth and/or Stevie Nicks worship too long and plopped over while dealing the Tarot cards.

A kind and loving soul. Her passage through this life so different from the steady one foot in front of the other treading that I, a woman of the Midwestern prairies, have measured my journey.

How prosaic. You don't have a journey, DUmmy. You have 30,000 posts on an internet forum.

Through the health problems she had experienced over the past few months, she exuded light and joy. The suddenness of her death has left her friends and family breathless and stunned.

Translation: she OD'd, probably while on the toilet.

This beautiful woman now mingles her bright energy with the light of stars.

No, she'll be mingling with worms. Good god you people are gay when your friends die.

May we learn from her journey.

Yes, I have a lot to learn from a woman you've so far described as a minor character in a Heart song from 1979. Probably OD'd on clove cigarettes.

Someone she didn't know, died. It's sad and stuff. Evidently they lived at the outskirts of an enchanted forest.

Sayyyyy, wait a minute.

Skidmark, did your friend by chance meet her end in an oven, and were two German kids seen high-tailing it out of her place?

If he never met "her" how do we know for sure it was not some guy on the other end of the computer?

She's...dead, Jim.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

That scarcely matters to a DUmmy.

Soak them in oil. They will burn brightly among the stars as they journey takes them screaming down the road for a few hundred yards.

When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Too much healing white light will fry you.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

DUmmy Deadstone is about the only dead DUmmy for whom we have reliable proof of death.

Even the round red sodomite for some reason never had an obit in a reputable publication, just a story in a nutty Seattle moonbat weekly.

Skimmer promised the CalPig a forum dedicated to discussing dead moonbats, but never followed up.

She even gave him a list of supposedly dead DUmmies to prime the pump, but to no avail.

It is puzzling why Skimmer reneged. A dead DUmmy forum could be one of the most entertaining spots at the DUmp.

He's slipping. He could be charging for obits.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.
