Once a society is willing to surrender the lives of their children to guns, or anything else, they have surrendered their right to a future. They are rotting from within.
The vast majority of children in this country will grow up, and not die prematurely from anything, much less fro guns. The person infringing on their freedom is the person who chooses to walk into a school and shoot them, not the gun owners who haven't done anything.
A great number of them will, however, be stunted as the result of lockdown restrictions that robbed them of their social life, emotional health, and education. And you can bet that many of them will end up more violent as a consequence.
That is what is rotting us from within.
That’s better. I prefer when they come straight out and admit what they truly believe rather than try and cloak it in a fog of concern they don’t really believe in the first place.

I don't have a problem with someone saying they want the 2nd Amendment repealed. I
disagree, but the correct attitude to have about laws one disagrees with is "I think the law should be changed", as opposed to "We should ignore the courts", or "it should be reinterpreted according to how I see it".
