WASHINGTON — White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said Tuesday that Adolf Hitler "didn't even sink to using chemical weapons" — a comment at odds with Hitler's use of gas chambers to exterminate Jews during the Holocaust.

Spicer was attempting to discuss the horror of the chemical weapons attack last week in Syria, which the Trump administration is blaming on President Bashar Assad.

Obviously talking about a leader using chemicals (either delivered by the use of bombs or fired from big guns like in WW1) in order to kill citizens in an area and not referencing to them being used in a controlled atmosphere against specific people like in the German concentration camps.

George is of an age where most normal people can reason out to what a speaker was making reference. George has demonstrated many times his incapibility to perform such a simple task. George is destined to misread many things that are said for his little remaining time on earth.

It's true. Hitler had been gassed during ww 1 and refused to use chemical weapons.

The irony that he used them on helpless people and not enemy combatants must be confusing for the DUmpmonkiez.

The Germans alone had nerve gas, the Allies didn't even know it existed until the war was over...at which point we copied it and the Soviets stole the factories and shipped them east.  He chose not to use it, not out of fear but because even he thought it was too much for open war.  The genocide had nothing to do with open war, it was a barbarous political action just like Stalin's extermination of the farmers who resisted collectivization.  The means was cyanide gas, of course in the same time frame some US states used cyanide gas for executions too.

The Nazis did not use chemical weapons in the war or against the German people. Zyklon B was a cyanide-based pesticide not a chemical weapon. Nazi concentration camps were not battlefields in the war, were not German cities or towns, and many inmates were not German.

IIRC young Adolph was gassed by chemicals in WWI and had that as to why chemical agents wee never used in battle in WWII.

I never said death camps and mobile gassing trucks were battlefields.
