The Republican Party is a hate group.
When the leader of a party is preaching hatred, division, and disrespect towards others, and not a soul from within the party stands up against it, there is no other way to put it.
The Republican Party is, in itself, a hate group.
If you ever had any doubt they'd put you in a camp or have you shot just because you don't 'believe' they way you do...

I once got called "no better than an authoritarian fascist" for saying just that.
Apparently, we're supposed to coddle hate groups.

4. Too much truth to that. The GOP has hemorrhaged people
whose party "left them," a too many staying have hateful motivations.
Unfortunately a similar hatefulness is catching and spreading on the left also. Thank goodness far fewer of us do it well, but we need to try to contain those eager to compete.
Nothing new. Our job has always been to contain hatermongers and extremists, and good times always coincide with our success. Not a coincidence.

Our job has always been to contain hatermongers and extremists
And the Democrat party contains all of those types, and more. In fact, I would say it's most definitely their home base.

There is no such thing as a 'good' Republican, and 'BanTheGOP's' tagline, "Until it is banned, the Republican party is, has been, and always will be, America's Ultimate Hate Crime against Humanity," fits nicely here.
The Conservatives are nothing but a legalized group of criminals and need to be marginalized, to say the least.
