The disturbing photos posted online by the Israeli MInistry of Foreign Affairs also show people who were gunned down in the street while fleeing the Tribe of Nova music festival near Gaza, while one snapshot captures a bloodied hostage loaded in the back of a Hamas terror vehicle.
Many of the deaths happened at the Tribe of Nova music festival. At least 260 people were massacred. Untold numbers have been kidnapped by Hamas.

With its botched withdrawal from Afghanistan in the summer of 2021 – accompanied by falsehoods it disseminated to conceal its blunders and to meet its domestic political goals – the Biden administration dealt a blow to American credibility and undercut U.S. interests.
Russia seems to have paid particular attention to U.S. disarray in Afghanistan in the summer of 2021, just as it did to U.S. pusillanimity in Syria in the summer of 2013. President Barack Obama declined in August 2013 to enforce the U.S. red line that he had announced in 2012 against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s use of chemical weapons in the Syrian civil war. Instead of punishing Assad for violating the international laws of war in the summer of 2013, Obama invited Russia back into the Middle East to oversee the removal of Assad’s chemical weapons stockpile. Six months later, in February 2014, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s forces seized Crimea and substantial portions of eastern Ukraine.
An uncannily similar sequence of events unfolded under President Joe Biden. His administration’s hasty and mismanaged pullout of American troops and diplomats in August 2021 precipitated the fall of Kabul into the Taliban’s hands, squandering the stability and good will that America had established over the course of 20 years in Afghanistan. Six months later, in February 2022, Putin’s military rolled into Ukraine with the intention of bringing the entire country under Russia’s dominion.
No doubt multiple factors drove Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine in 2014 and his attempt to conquer it in 2022. He has long made known his designs on lands he regards as essential to Russia’s imperial ambitions. But if the Russian strongman was uncertain about how America might react to a blatant violation of Ukraine’s political sovereignty and territorial integrity, the Obama administration’s projection of irresoluteness in the summer of 2013 and the Biden administration’s demonstration of ineptitude in the summer of 2021 would have diminished Putin’s fear in the winters of 2014 and 2022 of American retribution.

Even more shameful, The Israeli commander told Newsweek that U.S. small arms seized in Afghanistan have been observed being used by Palestinian groups in the Gaza Strip.
In January, NBC reported that weapons left behind in Afghanistan during Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from the nation have been used to arm militants in Kashmir, India, in what NBC said experts call “just the start of the weapons’ global journey.”

Gordis says "Yesterday may well have been the worst day in Israel’s history." OK, it's an opinion piece and he's careful to say Israel, which - as a country - has been in existence only since 1948.

Adams reiterated there was no specific or credible threat to NYC at this time, though he was aware of protests planned for Friday and of Hamas’ global call to action.

The development comes as the militant group Hezbollah took responsibility for targeting Israeli military posts with small-arms fire along the country's border with Lebanon, which the Israelis responded to with artillery strikes.
More than 1,300 Israelis were killed and thousands more wounded when Hamas launched a surprise terror attack on the Jewish state Saturday. As many as 150 people are believed to have been taken captive by terrorists and held in Gaza, according to Israeli authorities.
IDF is now entering Gaza. Their goal is to find the hostages held somewhere in Gaza.

Police arrested a Russian-born Chechen shortly after a teacher was killed at a secondary school in the northeastern city of Arras, 115 miles (185 km) north of Paris.
Three other people were wounded in the incident.
A day before the attack, the suspect had been held by police for questioning on suspicion of radicalism, Mr Darmanin added.
A French teacher was stabbed to death by a Russian-born Chechen. It is likely connected to the Israel and Hamas War.

Senior Hamas official Ali Baraka told Russia Today on Sunday (via the Middle East Media Research Institute) that Hamas had been secretly planning the invasion of southern Israel for two years — which would mean after President Joe Biden took office, and after the disastrous, deadly U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.
“We have been preparing for this for two years. We have local factories for everything. We have rockets with ranges of 250 kms, 160 kms, 80 kms, 45 kms, and 10 kms,” he said in an October 8, 2023, Russia Today interview.
“We have factories for mortars and their shells. We have factories for manufacturing B-7 and B-10 guns and their shells. We have factories for manufacturing Kalashnikov rifles and their bullets. We have a Russian license to produce Kalashnikov bullets in Gaza,” he added.
Baraka said Hamas was assisted by Iran — a claim for which the Biden administration it lacks direct evidence.
Hamas planned the attack right after the Afghanistan debacle. The Afghanistan debacle emboldened Hamas.

The attack plans, which are labeled “top secret” in Arabic, appear to be orders for two highly trained Hamas units to surround and infiltrate villages and target places where civilians, including children, gather. Israeli authorities are still determining the death toll in Kfar Sa’ad.
The documents were found on the bodies of Hamas terrorists by Israeli first responders and shared with NBC News. They include detailed maps and show that Hamas intended to kill or take hostage civilians and school children.
One page labeled “Top Secret” outlines a plan of attack for Kfar Sa’ad, saying “Combat unit 1” is directed to “contain the new Da’at school,” while “Combat unit 2” is to “collect hostages,” “search the Bnei Akiva youth center” and “search the old Da’at school.”
Hamas’s deadly terror attack on Israel has killed at least 1,300 people and wounded 3,300 more, according to the latest reports.

Hamas has released a disturbing new video showing armed men playing with and clutching kidnapped Israeli children and babies in an apparent attempt to spin a narrative about how the terrorist group is treating its captives.
The video features a number of unidentified men wearing fatigues and tactical vests appearing to dote on the young hostages at what appears to be a typical suburban home.
In one segment, the older child, no older than 5, sits in the lap of one of his captors as the terrorist slowly rocks the baby in a carriage, an assault rifle clearly visible on a nearby table.
At one point a different militant cradles the baby in one arm while holding an automatic weapon with the other. All of the adult’s faces are blurred out in the footage.
Near the end of the clip, a man wearing a balaclava and a green headband holds a child in each arm and directly addresses the camera in Arabic.

Given what we hear about the conditions in Gaza, it sure seems like the Hamas government and the UNRWA don’t expend a lot of effort on making conditions better for the residents–they rely on Israel to provide power and food, for instance. That’s because Hamas and the UN spend all their time preparing for war and spreading propaganda.
What kind of propaganda, you may ask? Well, let’s see what the Palestinian students at those schools are taught and the attitudes they have developed toward Jews and all Israelis.

Aviv Kutz, 54, his wife, Livnat, 49, and their children, Rotem, 19, Yonatan 17, and Yiftach 15, were murdered by Hamas terrorists on Oct. 7 in their home on the Kfar Aza kibbutz, the Times of Israel reported.
The family was initially counted among the missing until neighbors discovered them together in bed with Aviv holding his family in a protective embrace, according to the newspaper.
"They were all amazing kids with huge hearts. They had their whole lives ahead of them," said their aunt, Adi Levy Salama.

The families of 199 people have been notified so far that their loved ones are being held in the Gaza Strip after they were abducted during Hamas’s terror onslaught in southern Israel on October 7, the military said Monday.
IDF spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said the military has some information on the whereabouts of hostages being held in Gaza.
“We are making valiant efforts to try to understand where the hostages are in Gaza, and we have such information,” Hagari said in response to a question at a press conference.
“We will not carry out an attack that would endanger our people,” he added.
Israelis and foreign nationals — infants, children with special needs, octogenarians with chronic health issues — were dragged by terrorists into Gaza, with their whereabouts largely unknown since.
There are 199 hostages somewhere in Gaza.
War erupted after Hamas’s October 7 massacre, which saw at least 1,500 terrorists burst across the border into Israel from the Gaza Strip by land, air and sea, killing over 1,300 people and seizing hostages of all ages under the cover of a deluge of thousands of rockets fired at Israeli towns and cities.
The vast majority of those killed as gunmen attacked and seized border communities were civilians.
Entire families were executed in their homes, and over 260 were slaughtered at an outdoor festival, many amid horrific acts of brutality by the terrorists, in what US President Joe Biden has highlighted as “the worst massacre of the Jewish people since the Holocaust.”

Hamas on Monday night released the first clip showing an Israeli hostage being held by the terror group in the Gaza Strip, as it said some 200-250 captives were in the coastal enclave after Palestinian terrorists’ massive onslaught in southern Israel on October 7.
The short video showed a young woman, 21-year-old Mia Schem, being treated after she was wounded in her arm, and later speaking to the camera.
Schem was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists while participating in the desert rave in Kibbutz Re’im, where the gunmen also killed over 260 festival-goers as part of the devastating massacre in which over 1,300 people were slain, the vast majority civilians.
She told the camera that she was operated on for three hours and that “I’m being cared for, I’m getting medications. I’m only asking to be returned home as soon as possible, to my family, to my parents, to my siblings. Please get me out of here as soon as possible.”
Schem’s family reacted to the clip, saying: “We’re happy.”
Hamas has made videos of the hostage. One of them is Mia Schem. I suspect some of the hostages were killed.

The Gaza Health Ministry said at least 500 people were killed at al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City, which Hamas said was the result of an Israeli airstrike.
When asked earlier in the day, the IDF said it was investigating the source of the explosion, noting that the hospital is a "highly sensitive building" and is "not an IDF target."
After an investigation, the IDF provided its findings with regard to the source of the airstrike.
"An analysis of IDF operational systems indicates that a barrage of rockets was fired by terrorists in Gaza, passing in close proximity to the al-Ahli [Baptist] hospital in Gaza at the time it was hit," IDF officials said. "Intelligence from multiple sources we have in our hands indicates that Islamic Jihad is responsible for the failed rocket launch which hit the hospital in Gaza."

President Joe Biden’s propensity for sticking his foot in his mouth is well-known, but you’d think he would have some self-control. There was a chance he would say something stupid since going off-script was never Biden’s strong suit, even when he was semi-cogent.
The Muslim world went insane Tuesday night over reports that a hospital in Gaza was struck by an Israeli airstrike, killing hundreds. It was fake news. It was a rocket misfire from Islamic Jihad firing into Israel. Regardless, the news media ran with Hamas propaganda, which spread faster than COVID through the Arab world, sparking mass protests from Baghdad to Barcelona. The American embassy in Beirut is evacuating its non-essential staff.
It was already bad enough that the president was entering a quasi-war zone. Germany’s chancellor had to take cover in Tel Aviv when it came under rocket attack. Luckily, nothing popped off during Biden’s brief visit, and it’s well that he uttered what he said on the plane flying back to the United States. Biden said what could be interpreted as a quip about the Gaza hospital bombing, saying he didn’t know if Hamas or their allies intentionally targeted the hospital, but they have to learn how to shoot straight (via NY Post):

Hamas, which rules Gaza, claimed Tuesday that an Israeli airstrike killed about 500 people at the hospital — sparking riots across the Middle East and forcing Biden to scrap a planned summit with Arab leaders in Amman, Jordan — but the White House said Wednesday it had determined the explosion was caused by a misfire on the Palestinian side.

Pat Ryder confirmed Thursday that the crew of the USS Carney, a guided missile destroyer operating in the Northern Red Sea, shot down three land attack cruise missiles and several drones that were launched by Iranian-backed Houthi militants in Yemen.
"This action was a demonstration of the integrated air and missile defense architecture that we have built in the Middle East and that we are prepared to utilize whenever necessary to protect our partners and our interests in this important region," Ryder said, adding there were no casualties to U.S. forces, nor any on the ground that he knows of. "Information on these engagements is still being processed, and we cannot say for certain what these missiles and drones were targeting."
The missiles were launched from Yemen and were heading north along the Red Sea, "potentially" toward targets in Israel, Ryder said.

"Foreign fighters motivated by ideology or mercenary soldiers of fortune may attempt to obfuscate travel to or from the US to or from countries in the Middle East through Mexico," it continued.

Citing reports that advanced U.S.-made firearms have ended up in the possession of the Hamas terrorist group in Gaza, several House Oversight Committee Republicans are demanding answers from the Pentagon about what's being done to make sure American-made weapons don't end up in the wrong hands.
“The Committee has seen reports that U.S.-manufactured weapons are being redistributed and resold in secondary markets to terrorist organizations, including Hamas,” wrote House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) in an Oct. 23 letter to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.
Mr. Comer and Ms. Greene cited a series of media reports indicating that American-made weapons were being diverted and ending up in the hands of terrorists.
One source of these U.S.-made weapons is reportedly the roughly $7 billion stockpile left behind in the botched Afghanistan withdrawal. Another is related to the arms that the United States is providing to Ukraine amid its war with Russia but that are being diverted to the Middle East by various actors, including gun-smuggling criminal groups.
"The potential possession of U.S. weapons by terrorists is alarming in light of the terrorist group's recent horrific attack on Israel," the pair of lawmakers wrote, referring to the Oct. 7 assault by Hamas operatives that killed about 1,500 Israelis, mostly civilians—many of them in barbaric fashion.
Hamas has American weapons from Afghanistan and Ukraine.
While it's impossible to tell without further investigation where the weapons are coming from, it's been alleged that some U.S.-made weapons are finding their way to Gaza and into the hands of Hamas.
In their letter, the GOP lawmakers said that "recently released photos show Hamas terrorists allegedly holding what appear to be H4A1 Carbines," a type of weapon that they point out was specially designed for U.S. Special Operations Forces.
"This would not be the first time our military service members and allies have been targeted by terrorist organizations misappropriating American-made weapons," the lawmakers wrote, citing the massive $7 billion arsenal that ended up in the hands of the Taliban.
The Taliban got a treasure trove of American weapons.
After U.S. forces withdrew from Afghanistan in the summer of 2021, they left behind billions of dollars of American-made weapons and equipment.
A Pentagon watchdog reported in August 2022 that "U.S.-funded equipment valued at $7.12 billion was in the inventory of the former Afghan government when it collapsed, much of which has since been seized by the Taliban."
The report, which was confirmed by the DOD, indicated that the equipment that had fallen into Taliban hands included military aircraft, ground vehicles, weapons, and other military equipment.
The items that ended up in Taliban hands included large equipment like Black Hawk helicopters and Humvees, as well as small but sophisticated arms like M16 assault rifles and M4 carbines.
"We have already seen Taliban fighters armed with U.S.-made weapons they seized from the Afghan forces. This poses a significant threat to the United States and our allies," Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas), the top Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, told Reuters in an email last year.

… As the war in Gaza began, Iranians noticed brand new cars belonging to Palestinians who were leaving Gaza City in response to Israel’s warning. Iranians shared images of these vehicles on social media, serving as a reminder that the government had been portraying Palestinians as impoverished for decades, all the while they were driving luxurious cars. This highlighted the stark contrast with Iranians who were struggling with high prices for poorly manufactured Iranian and Chinese vehicles.
In numerous videos from Gaza, Iranians also observed that Palestinians were living in homes and new apartment buildings that were much better than those in Iran.
Iranians struggling to put food on their tables were incensed by a rumor that their government was handing out stipends of up to $600 per month to Hamas fighters, about triple the average wage in Iran.
Palestinian terror boss Ziad Nakhaleh of Islamic Jihad won no favor with the Iranian public by sneering on October 20 that Shiite Muslims were not welcome in his organization, which adheres to Sunni Islam.
The mullahs give money to Palestinians, while letting Iranians languish. Persians and Arabs are rivals.

The Times released a statement on Monday, five days after running its headline, which read: “Israeli Strike Kills Hundreds in Hospital, Palestinians Say.”
“The Times’s initial accounts attributed the claim of Israeli responsibility to Palestinian officials and noted that the Israeli military said it was investigating the blast,” the editors’ note said.
“However, the early versions of the coverage — and the prominence it received in a headline, news alert and social media channels — relied too heavily on claims by Hamas, and did not make clear that those claims could not immediately be verified.”
Times editors also acknowledged that “the report left readers with an incorrect impression about what was known and how credible the account was.”

I'm not big on getting into a full on war, with the loss of US soldiers and the monetary costs, but at the same time, we've been piddling around with Iran for decades. Just getting it over with has it's appeal. Knowing it will likely be like Afghanistan, years of wasted lives, time and money just to end up with the same nutjobs in power, also is a big check mark in the negative column.
Sticking this in here because our ships are there to support Israel in this conflict, and those ships are getting attacked by the people supporting Hamas.

This is the same ‘deal’ that Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran have offered Israel for decades. It’s the same deal that the other Arab nations offered between 1947 and roughly 1979, too. For the last sixteen years, Israel has hoped that withdrawal from Gaza might moderate those enemies similarly as Egypt and Jordan moderated their own stances toward their existence. October 7 finally proved that Hamas and Iran have no intention of deflecting from their extermination goals when it comes to Israel and the Jews.
In other words, the Israelis have finally and fully internalized the existential threat Hamas represents to their country and to Jews everywhere. So does Benjamin Netanyahu, who sent a similar message to world leaders and foreign media this afternoon as well. Calls for a “cease fire” constitutes a surrender, and Israel will no longer play along with Hamas annihilationists:

He also claimed, "We are victims - everything we do is justified."

Iran International is a Persian-language news television channel headquartered in London and it is against the Iranian Ayatollah regime. This channel recently reported that due to threats faced by the Iranian regime, members of the Iranian Jewish community have been forced to cut ties with their relatives in Israel. This comes at a time when the Iranian regime is forcing members of the Jewish communities in Esfahan and Tehran to protest against the State of Israel.
Following the incident on October 17, in which a missile fired by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad fell on the Baptist Hospital in Gaza, the Tehran Jewish community was forced by the Iranian regime to issue the following statement: “Every free human being is hurt now because of the news about the hospital where people were killed by an enemy who has no conscience and is very violent.”
The Tehran Jewish community issued this statement, even though it has been confirmed that the Palestinian Islamic Jihad was responsible for the attack on the Gaza hospital. An analysis of IDF operational systems indicates that a barrage of rockets was fired by the PIJ terrorists in Gaza, passing close to the Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza at the time it was hit.
Meanwhile, the Tehran Jewish community was completely silent following the October 7 massacre, when Hamas slaughtered innocent youths at a music festival, burned people alive in their homes, decapitated babies, and raped numerous women. This silence remains, even though there are many parallels between how Hamas, a proxy of Iran, acted in the areas they invaded in southern Israel and how ISIS committed genocide against the Yezidi community in Iraq.

In perhaps the most surreal news since Hamas entered Israel on October 7th, slaughtering 1,400 people, it was revealed on Wednesday that multiple "photojournalists" accompanied the terrorists as they attacked.
As RedState reported, multiple "photojournalists" who were contracted by outlets like CNN and the Associated Press, posted pictures of themselves riding into Israel with Hamas. In some instances, actual Israeli hostages can be seen. Their presence alone raised a myriad of questions surrounding what these "photojournalists" knew about the timing of the attack. Obviously, they had prior knowledge, otherwise, they wouldn't have known to be there. Instead of reporting what was going to happen to those who could prevent it, they happily participated.
Perhaps more disturbing was the possibility that the U.S. news organizations they were working for knew what was going on. On that front, both the AP and CNN put out statements categorically denying they were told what was going to happen. They also severed ties with the "photojournalists" in question.
To be clear, when I say "participated," that's exactly what looks to have occurred. One picture, uploaded by one of the "photojournalists" to his own Facebook page, shows him actually holding a grenade.
Photojournalists contracted by CNN and AP were following terrorists when they followed Israel.
Well, if these "photojournalists" thought they had immunity for participating in a terrorist attack, they thought wrong. According to Israeli UN representative and Knesset member Danny Danon, they will be added to the termination list.
Israel's internal security agency announced that they will eliminate all participants of the October 7 massacre.
The "photojournalists" who took part in recording the assault will be added to that list.

Some are already crying foul over the decision, but what else should Israel be expected to do? You are not a journalist when you carry a grenade into a terror attack while not offering any warning to the thousands who are about to be killed, injured, and taken hostage. On Wednesday, a media watchdog called HonestReporting published an article asking how these U.S. news outlets got their photos and suggesting that the outlets had embedded photojournalists inside Hamas as the terrorist group slaughtered at least 1,400 civilians in Israel. A former freelance journalist for AP, Hassan Eslaiah, appears in a photo with the leader of the Hamas massacre, Yahya Sinwar.
Israel demanded answers. Nitzan Chen, director of the Israeli Government Press Office, demanded explanations from each of the four major news outlets. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office released a statement saying that it “views with utmost gravity that photojournalists working with international media joined in covering the brutal acts of murder perpetrated by Hamas terrorists.”
“These journalists were accomplices in crimes against humanity; their actions were contrary to professional ethics,” Netanyahu’s office added.
Each news organization told The Daily Signal that it had no prior knowledge of the terrorist attacks and received the photos they used from freelancers. Three of the four outlets said they no longer work with those freelancers.

On Thursday, the Israeli military captured a Hamas drone and weapons factory adjacent to kids’ bedroom in northern Gaza. “IDF soldiers discovered a Hamas weapons manufacturing and storage facility used to produce and store UAVs and weapons. The site was located in a residential building, in close proximity to schools in the center of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in northern Gaza,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) disclosed in a statement. “In the building, Hamas’ explosives and operational plans were found right next to a children’s bedroom.”
The weapons factory and depot, which contained explosives and bombs, was located near a school. “The Israel Defense Forces says the building, in Gaza City’s Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, is located next to a school,” the Times of Israel noted. “Footage shows troops finding several Hamas drones in the building, as well as equipment used to manufacture them, and instructions to make explosive devices. It says troops also recovered a number of bombs at the site.”

Ripping down posters and lavishing praise on those who do has become a trend ever since Hamas terrorists took 240 Israelis hostage during their Oct. 7 terror assault on Israel.
More than a dozen protesters interviewed by The Post in Manhattan said their opinions about the Israel-Hamas war were shaped mainly by Instagram and TikTok accounts — and to a lesser extent their school professors.
They were at a rally on Thursday attended by at least 2,000, many of them under-30s who had skipped school to join the anti-Israel spectacle.
Zara Asif, 17, who came with her classmate Manoor Javed, 16, from New Utrecht High School in Bensonhurst, said they have both been inspired to go to pro-Palestinian rallies around the Northeast and Washington DC by watching TikTok and Instagram videos.
TikTok is a source of antisemitism.

Students at Concordia University in Montreal set up a table exhibit calling for the release of hostages in Gaza and things got out of control quickly.

One person was reportedly arrested and three were injured in a confrontation between pro-Palestinian protesters and pro-Israel students at Concordia University on Wednesday.
A series of videos of the confrontation, which happened in front of a table set up calling for Hamas to release the hostages, have gone viral on social media. The videos show the pro-Palestinian protesters chanting, “Free Palestine” and “Ceasefire Now” toward the Jewish students. One video appeared to show a female pro-Palestinian protester calling a Jewish student a “f—ing k—” and accusing the student of “pinkwashing.” Other videos appeared to show students shoving each and needing to be restrained and students in an apparent tug of war with an Israeli flag.
The Montreal Gazette reported that, according to Montreal police, a 22-year-old female student was arrested for allegedly assaulting a 54-year-old security guard; a 19-year-old security guard and 23-year-old student also sustained minor injuries in the clash, per the Gazette.
CTV News Montreal spoke to Concordia student Eitan Kovac, a witness to the clash, who said shortly after the table was set up, pro-Palestinian protesters began yelling at them. “People were seconds away from assailing others, throwing stuff,” Kovac told the outlet. “We had a few incidents where people were throwing water bottles at us or decided to come to our booth and try to remove the Israeli flag or to remove pictures or posters of children, infants, elderly or anyone in between that is currently kidnapped and in Gaza.”

Hamas "police" can be seen hitting Gazans as they try to get food from the truck, which is painted in UN white, though that may just be a coincidence. In one frame, something that resembles a machete is swung.
Where's the food heading? It's heading to feed Hamas fighters as they hide in their tunnels like the weak betas they are. This is the reality of "humanitarian aid" in regard to Gaza. Western leaders continue to pretend otherwise, either because they are vapid or because they are willfully dishonest. It's easier for Joe Biden to talk about a pause than stand up for what's not just right, but what is reality.
That's really what it comes down to. Political cowardice is what drives every call for more "aid" to Gaza. It's not based on an actual expectation that the people that need it will get it. Biden may be senile but his handlers are smart enough to know where the money, food, and fuel are going to end up. They don't care, though, because if they fully support Israel's right to destroy Hamas, they'll receive global pushback.

More than a dozen top intelligence officials from several Western and Middle Eastern nations told The Washington Post that based on what Israeli investigators have found in the aftermath of the attack that it was clear that Hamas terrorists were ordered to murder as many civilians as possible and that they had planned to push further into Israel, into its larger cities, during the attacks.
The terrorists “carried enough food, ammunition and equipment to last several days” and carried with them “instructions to continue deeper into Israel.”
The report said that Hamas intended to inflict as much terror in the most heinous ways imaginable with the expectation that it would “spark a conflagration” from Israel that they hoped would then ignite the Islamic into action against Israel. The Palestinian terrorists also aimed to derail efforts to further secure peace deals between Israel and the Arab world.
Hamas’ top officials have openly stated that Palestinian civilians must die to advance their cause against Israel and that they are ready to launch “a second, a third, a fourth” attack on the level of October 7 against Israel until it is annihilated.
Hamas was planning to kill even more civilians and drag Israel into a full blown war.

A multimillionaire tech mogul and his wife are helping to bankroll groups behind pro-Palestinian protests that have occurred in the wake of the Oct. 7 terror attack by Hamas on Israel.
Neville Roy Singham, a U.S.-born entrepreneur who made millions after founding and selling an IT consulting firm called Thoughtworks, and his wife Jodie Evans, the co-founder of left-wing anti-war group Code Pink, have been the primary funders of a group called The People’s Forum since 2017, according to a report by The Free Press’s Francesca Block. The group bills itself as a "movement incubator for working class and marginalized communities" and "nurtures the next generation of visionaries and organizers who believe that through collective action a new world is possible."
The People’s Forum has played a role in organizing several pro-Palestine protests since Hamas’ attack on Oct. 7 in which the terror group’s members killed at least 1,200 Israelis and took over 200 hostages from Southern Israel into Gaza.
On the day of Hamas’ attack, the group appeared to offer no condemnation of the terror group’s actions and called for an end to "US aid to the Zionist occupation" and tweeted images of posters stating, "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" — a slogan that has been criticized as being antisemitic and was cited in the House’s censure of Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich.
The People’s Forum is funding anti-Israel protests. It is a Marxist group. No surprise there.
One such protest occurred in New York City’s Times Square the day after the attack on Oct. 8. A social media profile belonging to The People’s Forum on X, formerly Twitter, encouraged New Yorkers to go "all out for Palestine!" It also urged supporters to "stand with the people of Palestine, who have the right to resist apartheid, occupation & oppression."
It also organized "Shut It Down for Palestine" protests on Nov. 4 to call for an end to U.S. support for Israel and Nov. 9. At the latter protest, activists entered the lobby of the NYC headquarters of asset management giant BlackRock, which The People’s Forum claimed "shut down" the company’s office.
The People’s Forum executive director Manolo De Los Sar criticized the March for Israel, which was held Tuesday in Washington, D.C., calling it a "Pro-Genocide March" and saying in a post on X, "This anti-Palestinian march, helped by the US govt, expects to gather a large crowd in support of 75 years of apartheid & occupation." He also accused speakers at the March for Israel of being "racists" and "fake progressives."

The foreign ministry statement does not provide any details regarding Mtenga’s death but says it is in contact with Israeli authorities about bringing his body back to Tanzania for burial.

Linda Thomas-Greenfield and United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini.
"It is deeply concerning that, despite the prevalence of these reports, the United Nations has seemingly done nothing to investigate or prevent the siphoning of UNRWA funding by terrorists, and UNRWA continues to double down on its claims that each subsequent, documented report is ‘unsubstantiated.’"
Blackburn has requested a response by Dec. 18 that addresses a report from Israeli reporter Almog Boker about a UNRWA employee who allegedly detained a hostage in their house for 50 days and details of any investigation into the report, as well as an explanation of UNRWA's "process for ensuring its facilities are not used to support terrorist activities," among other points.
The UN is the enemy as well.
The UNRWA has faced several allegations, including corruption and directly helping Hamas, as documented in an X community note. Reuters reported on a former headmaster at a UNRWA school who helped build rockets for Islamic Jihad while employed by the agency, as well as posts from several UNRWA teachers and administrators celebrating the Oct. 7 attack.
The agency urged the journalist to provide "immediate clarification" on the claims and that "in the absence of credible information to support this claim, UNRWA requests the journalist immediately delete the post."

There, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY) asked her if calling for the genocide of Jews violates Penn’s rules or code of conduct, to which Magill replied only that “if the speech turns into conduct, it can be harassment.”
When asked the question again, Magill would only add, “It is a context-dependent decision,” while inexplicably smiling.
She also claimed UPenn has assembled a task force to “identify concrete actionable recommendations.” That plan includes hiring an expert who will help the university respond to antisemitism, Islamophobia and other hatred on campus, according to the Philadelphia Enquirer.

Albany, NY, police detained a 28-year-old man suspected of shooting two rounds outside of Temple Israel right before the beginning of Hanukkah at sundown.

A 28-year-old man was immediately detained in connection with the shooting, which came hours before the start of Chanukah at sundown.
The suspect told both a bystander and responding officers, “Free Palestine,” according to Albany Police Chief Eric Hawkins.
“Make no mistake, the safety of Jewish New Yorkers is non-negotiable,” Gov. Hochul said. “Any act of antisemitism is unacceptable, and undermining public safety at a synagogue on the first night of Chanukah is even more deplorable.”
The staff noticed the armed man outside the building. They immediately placed the building on lockdown, including an early childhood center filled with small children.

Ghandour was among five top Hamas officials confirmed dead last week after Israel investigated a tunnel system that was destroyed by an airstrike last month.
It was the same tunnel Ghandour and his deputy, Wael Rajab, were pictured in while enjoying food and meeting with several other Hamas leaders inside a narrow room months earlier.

Hezbollah, an even better funded terrorist group than Hamas, poses an even greater threat to Israel. While IDF soldiers and combat engineers risk their lives dismantling Hamas’s vast tunnel network spread across Gaza, Israel faces a much more significant challenge in the north, where the Iran-backed Hezbollah has created more extensive and far more advanced tunnel systems. Hezbollah’s terror tunnel network, financed by Iran, is larger and more sophisticated than what Hamas has managed to create at the cost of billions of dollars in Gaza.
The IDF says it struck a Hezbollah cell in southern Lebanon, and a fighter jet hit a site belonging to the terror group.

Update(1840): Reuters and VOA are reporting that US and UK warplanes have begin striking Houthi targets in Yemen, in what marks the first major regional expansion of the Gaza war. According to Politico:
The U.S. and U.K, with support from Australia, the Netherlands, Bahrain, and Canada, conducted joint strikes tonight against Houthi targets in Yemen, per DOD official. Strikes involved U.S. aircraft, ships and submarines.
The Telegraph has also reported British fighters and ships are participating in the military action against the Houthis. There are incoming reports of large airstrikes in major Yemeni cities. Harvard University will host a summer program where students will be briefed on “settler colonialism” at a Palestinian university that called for “glory to martyrs” after the October 7 terrorist massacre in Israel and has a student body that overwhelmingly elected a Hamas-affiliated bloc to run its student government.
The embattled Ivy League institution’s “Palestine Social Medicine Course” will send Harvard students to Birzeit University in the West Bank, according to the program’s website. It explains that the “three-week intensive summer course is designed to introduce students to the social, structural, political, and historical aspects that determine Palestinian health beyond the biological basis of disease.”
Harvard faces mounting criticism for its response to blatant anti-Semitism on its campus since the Hamas terrorist attack. Several Harvard students told The Daily Wire they were concerned about their school’s relationship with Birzeit University, given its history and alignment with terrorist groups.
The curriculum content will include hearing from health practitioners, academics, and activists about various topics including “Settler colonialism and its manifestations in Palestine” and “Health and racism,” the website adds.
Anti-semitism abounds at Harvard.
Birzeit University’s student population voted overwhelmingly for a Hamas-affiliated bloc in its student government elections for a second year in a row in May. The Islamic Bloc won 25 of the 51 seats with 4,481 votes in the race that had a 77% voter turnout, according to the Jerusalem Post. The Bloc said its victory proves students favor “the option of resistance” against Israel, and disapprove of the Palestinian Authority’s policies.
Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh praised the victory and spoke to participants at its celebrations over the phone, claiming the victory shows Hamas is “unbreakable” in the West Bank, Middle East Monitor reported.
The campus elections are closely watched as a peek into the political leanings of Palestinians in the West Bank, where the Palestinian Authority has not held national elections since 2006.
The student government president, Abdulmajid Hassan, and seven other students were arrested by the Israel Defense Forces during a raid in September, according to the university. The group is accused of planning a terror attack to which some of the suspects confessed, according to the Times of Israel.
Birzeit University bans Jews.
Birzeit University had an official policy banning Israeli Jews from being on campus, which came to light in 2014 when a left-wing reporter for Haaretz was removed from a conference. It is unclear if this policy is still in place.
“She and her colleagues were afraid, she told me, that students would break into the conference hall in protest over my presence,” Amira Haas wrote, recounting the incident. “Palestinian citizens of Israel who teach at Israeli universities are not subject to the same policy.”

At a moment that especially Western and any and all Israeli-linked vessels are being targeted by rocket and drone attacks out of Yemen, the head of Aramco’s refining, oil trading and marketing division Mohammed Al Qahtani has confirmed to Bloomberg, "We’re moving in the Red Sea with our oil and products cargoes." He added that the risks remain "manageable".
As we've been chronicling, a who's who of major tanker and container shipping companies have halted their Red Sea transit, instead opting for the much longer journey around the Cape of Good Hope in Africa. This typically adds some $1 million to the total transport bill for a tanker, LSEG Shipping Research data shows.
Bloomberg's analysis shows that even at this very moment in which US warships are coming under fire, Saudi transit through the vital waterway is alive and well:
In the first half of January, Aramco shipped as much crude from its Red Sea terminal at Yanbu northwards toward Europe as it did in the whole of the previous month, vessel tracking data compiled by Bloomberg show.
“That is also giving us huge access and optionality,” Qahtani said. “We are assessing that almost on a daily basis.”
Still, like the rest of the industry, Aramco is having to deal with fewer vessels willing to travel into the Red Sea and higher insurance costs for doing so.
The Houthis are allowing, China, Russia, and Saudi Arabia ships through.

President Joe Biden on Sunday blamed Iran-backed militant groups for the attack that killed three U.S. Army troops in Jordan and wounded more than two dozen others.

Kennedy's parents, Oneida and Shawn Sanders joined "Fox & Friends" to discuss the unexpected loss and how they want America to respond to the deadly attack that took their daughter's life.
"As a grieving parent, I would not want to see any other parent go through what we're going through right now, but given the circumstances, our child and the others who lost their lives are considered heroes in this situation," Oneida said. "However, the President of the United States decides to respond, it won't change our situation at all."
The families have not heard from President Joe Biden.
Oneida mentioned that the family had already been in contact with Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and various lawmakers.
"I have heard from some other government officials," Oneida said. "Also, the governor of Georgia, Governor Brian Kemp, has put in a call to us. Some of our congressmen who represent our area have called us.
She mentioned the pair needed to complete paperwork before speaking with President Biden, but since the interview aired, White House national security spokesman John Kirby confirmed Biden had spoken to each of the families directly.

The group Combat Antisemitism Movement, through their Antisemitism Research Center, says they recorded 3,046 incidents of antisemitism globally last year, up 58.2% from 2022, when the group says they recorded 1,925 incidents.
“This highlights a concerning international increase in levels of antisemitism,” report authors write.
Not only did rates of antisemitism soar as a whole — with many incidents coming not long after the October 7 terrorist attack against Israel — researchers say that for the first time since they started recording and tracking world-wide incidents of hate against Jews, the bigotry came as often from “far-left” actors as it did from the “far-right” groups.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) responded by taking out Hezbollah rocket launch sites in southern Lebanon. “Hezbollah ups attacks on Israel,” the Jerusalem Post reported Sunday. “In response, the IDF attacked the sources of the rocket fire, including Hezbollah infrastructure in al-Khiam and Rab El Thalathine in southern Lebanon. Additionally, the IDF attacked the Hula area with artillery to remove a threat.”
The latest rocket barrage from Lebanon took place in the backdrop of increased Hezbollah aggression as the IDF conducts a large-scale military operation to eliminate Hamas in Gaza.

But Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu is reportedly vowing that if the Islamic Republic launches missiles from its soil it will ensure "a strong response" from Israel.
Israeli officials have told Axios late in the day that such an act would "take the current conflict to another level" — which most certainly would involve a direct Israel-Iran war and thus the eruption of a broader regional conflict. Axios adds the following observations:
Iranian proxies in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Gaza have attacked Israel but there hasn't been an attack from Iranian soil.
A direct Iranian strike on Israel would be unprecedented and could lead to a regional war in the Middle East.
Netanyahu informed his security cabinet Thursday that Israel's forces have already been engaged with Iran "both directly and via its proxies, and therefore Israel is operating against Iran and its proxies, both defensively and offensively."
Israel has closed consulates in United Arab Emirates. Things are getting really hairy.

Iran has launched an attack against Israel using dozens of drones, according to a report.
“BREAKING: Iran launches attack against Israel using dozens of drones, four U.S. and Israeli officials told me,” Axios reporter Barak Ravid posted on X.
Unverified videos posted to Telegram, and shared online showed a swarm of buzzing Iranian drones — which are known to make a “lawnmower sound” — flying over Iraq.

Police removed anti-Israel protesters from Columbia University's campus in New York City on Thursday, after the demonstrating students had set up an encampment on a campus lawn, and announced the suspension of those students involved.
In total, 108 people were arrested and given a summons for trespassing, the New York Police Department (NYPD) said during an early evening press conference. Two people were additionally given a summons for obstruction of governmental administration.
The daughter of Rep. IIhan Omar, D-Minn., was arrested and given a trespass summons, the NYPD said.
NYPD officers noted that while many of the protesters were peaceful and didn't resist arrest. However, around 500 students left their classrooms and told officers they were the "KKK," "baby killers" and to "go kill ourselves," a police official said.
"It was very sad to see," he said.
The protesters were given a chance. They chose to ignore it.

A Post deep-dive into the backgrounds of the protesters shows many list multimillion-dollar mansions as their home addresses, according to arrest records, and come from wealthy and powerful families.
Many are students at Barnard College, Columbia University’s liberal arts sister school.
Others are career activists with multiple arrests under their belts.
The protesters arrested are rich kids. No surprise there.

Angry protesters at NYU’s anti-Israel demonstration pelted NYPD officers with bottles as they raided the demonstration late Monday – with someone even bashing a cop’s helmet with a chair, a top department official said.
The NYPD moved onto the Greenwich Village campus, with permission from the university, when the camped-out group failed to disperse from Gould Plaza around 4 p.m., Deputy Commissioner of Operations Kaz Daughtry told WABC Tuesday morning.
Community Affairs cops made the first attempt, before the department’s Strategic Response Group filed in, Daughtry said.
Some members of the crowd “chose violence” and whacked the responding cops with bottles, with one hitting a cop on his helmet with a chair, the police official tweeted, alongside a photo of the mark the blow left on the hardhat.

A total of 120 people were taken into custody at the private university Monday — with 116 of them slapped with summonses for trespassing and four getting desk appearance tickets for charges that included resisting arrest.
None of the charges are of a level that will result in a criminal record.
The faculty members who participated in the demonstration were the “most aggressive,” Daughtry said.
Getting a slap on the wrist. They should have the books thrown at them.

When the NYPD moved in on the New York University pro-Hamas occupiers Monday night, professors formed a human chain to block the cops — neatly revealing a huge part of the problem in US academia.
Remember: The issue was the protesters’ decision to seize a central part of the campus in a bid to blackmail the school into divesting from Israel over the Hamas war — and their hateful intimidation of those who disagree.
This wasn’t free speech (nor even orderly civil disobedience), but the reverse: using force to impose their beliefs.
And these faculty fully endorsed that radical, deeply liberal action.
Academia is deeply rotten.

The United States’ top institutions and assets for higher education are being lost to extremists.
At the University of Pennsylvania, we are no longer known as the birthplace of the mRNA vaccine or the computer. Any quick Google search over the past six months will find that our university has been overrun by extremists who hate America, hate Israel and hate Jews.
Columbia University has devolved from the birthplace of more than 100 Nobel laureates to a war zone where Jewish students have been advised to go home.
Students across the country glorify the first woman to hijack an airplane, Leila Khaled, rather than the women who graduated from their own universities.
Students and faculty are at the center of this unfortunate fall from grace.
Some people do not learn.
Universities across the country regularly chant for an Intifada (indiscriminate violence against Jews) so loudly they are heard from dorms, libraries, and classrooms.
At Penn and Drexel, a recent protest shouted, “We won’t stop at a cease-fire!” Jordan Vaughan, the chant leader (invited to campus by students) shared a screenshot from the Orthodox Jewish Community group chat including three students’ full names, personal phone numbers, and Instagram accounts online.
Jordan is a self-proclaimed organizer for the Philly Palestine Coalition and has posted on X: “Live, love, Hamas” and “Glad Hamas killed that bitch” in response to a photo of a 22-year-old woman who was raped, kidnapped and killed at the NOVA festival on Oct. 7.
This is like shades of Nazis Germany.

The anti-Israel Columbia University students hunkering down on the Ivy League’s West Lawn received a hefty food delivery Wednesday — as they show no signs of abandoning their makeshift tent city.
Fruits, nuts, granola bars and overpriced sandwiches were being handed out like candy to the protesters, who were given a 48-hour extension to camp out on the grounds before the administration warned it would clear them out.
The evening meal marked one week of the group’s headlining-making demonstration as similar ones have spread like wildfire to other elite campuses across the country.
Talk about privileged.

That’s the sad part. They’re in some expensive Ivy League school and they’re dumb as a stump. Police need to go in with tier, gas, bill, clubs, dogs, and water cannons and show them what protesting is all about give them some lumps. Send them home to mommy and daddy with bump bruises and a couple and knocked out teeth. Need some tough love and the professors for inciting all this should be on trial and fired

The Sabereen News, a Telegram channel affiliated with Iran-backed Iraqi militias is inciting American students to escalate university protests against Israel.
Per the Middle East Media Research Institute’s (MEMRI) Jihad and Terrorism Threat Monitor (JTTM), the Telegram channel shared multiple photos of anti-Israeli protest across the U.S.
“From Columbia University to Brown University: ‘We will not abandon Gaza,’ the students in American universities chant during their sit-in solidarity of Palestine,” read a post on the channel, per MEMRI.

UT Austin says ‘outside groups’ involved in anti-Israel protests
UT Austin on Thursday said nearly half of those arrested in anti-Israel demonstrations the day prior were not affiliated with the university.
The university said that the protest, organized by the Palestine Solidarity Committee, saw “significant participation by outside groups present on our campus yesterday.”
"This outside group presence is what we’ve seen from the affiliated national organization’s efforts to disrupt and create disorder,” UT Austin said. “Roughly half (26) of the 55 people who violated Institutional Rules and were ultimately arrested were unaffiliated with The University of Texas.”
Outsiders are behind it.

The traffic-snarling stunts, which took place in several major cities Monday, were said by protesters to be a response to the United States' continued support for Israel during its war with Hamas terrorists.
The demonstrations were largely organized by A15 Action, a recently created group that said it would "coordinate a multi-city economic blockade on April 15 in solidarity with Palestine."
Under the group's "resources" section on its website, users are pointed to a "bail and legal defense fund" hosted by ActBlue, the leading fundraising platform for Democratic campaigns and groups nationwide.
George Soros and the left are behind all this.

The University of Southern California on Thursday scrapped its “main stage” graduation ceremony as the campus has been overrun with anti-Israel protests that have led to the arrests of nearly 100 students.
The university blamed new safety measures put in place this year for the cancellation of the 65,000-person ceremony at Alumni Park on May 10.
In a message to the school community, USC said that because of new measures it would take too long to process the large number of guests.
“We understand that this is disappointing; however, we are adding many new activities and celebrations to make this commencement academically meaningful, memorable, and uniquely USC, including places to gather with family, friends, faculty, and staff, the celebratory releasing of the doves, and performances by the Trojan Marching Band,” school leaders said in the announcement.
The elite California school has been embroiled in pomp-and-circumstance controversy since it called off a speech by valedictorian Asna Tabassum earlier this month, pointing to “security” concerns after she was accused of promoting “anti-Semitic and anti-Zionist rhetoric” over social media.
No commencement at USC.

Talking about biting the hand that feeds. Palestinian terrorists on Wednesday attacked the U.S. pier being constructed off the coast of Gaza, the Israeli TV channel i24NEWS reported.
Gaza “terrorists launched mortars at the maritime construction site, damaging several pieces of engineering equipment,” the TV channel revealed. ” In addition, one person was slightly injured while running to a protected area.”
The U.S. military is involved in the construction of the floating dock. It is unclear if American servicemen or civilian contractors were present at the site during the terrorist attack.
Last month, President Joe Biden announced the decision to construct a floating pier for large-scale aid delivery to Gaza and supply aid through trucks and airdrops. “I’m directing the US military to lead an emergency mission to establish a temporary pier in the Mediterranean on the Gaza coast that can receive large ships carrying food, water, medicine and temporary shelters,” President Biden declared on March 7.
Hamas attacked the pier that America is building to help Palestinians.
