It's in my nature and it's what I do :wink: I'm the worse for that. Thing is it sucks when I see something in my own pics and can't post them because well I don't want one of my sons' stray socks in the background :banghead: :-)

Went to a 5K with my work peeps this weekend, took an AWESOME team shot.  Right smack dab in front of all the portopotties.   :rofl:

That can not be said at least without posting it where your friends can see it lol. If it makes you feel any better I usually observe photo issues after the shot is taken and not before lol.

There is trim that goes around the bottom of the newels to cover the hardware.  He hasn't put the trim up under the treads yet. He hasn't put the short handrail up at the top or the curved rail around the balcony either.

I forgot to update. We still aren't done. He still has to put the cap on the wainscoting, 1/4 round at the baseboard and some painting. He has been pretty busy the last month.  The 1/4 round you see along the stair wall is just lying there, it's not installed.









I just ordered three ceiling lights for the upstairs hallway. It will look much better when those are up. He also still needs to lay the wood floor in the hallway upstairs. We have it, he just hasn't had time to put it down yet.



Now I need to find a table for along the stair wall, a sofa table (extra long) for behind the couch and my husband is going to make a cool square or round coffee table (ill show you the idea later) so I can finally put the too long coffee table back upstairs in the game room.  I'm going to get several lamps to lighten this place up and finally hang a few things on the wall.

My new light in the entryway. The ceiling isn't tall enough for a huge light.  It is a smaller version of the one over the stairs. I think I need a dimmer switch on that light or lower watt bulbs.

My mommy bought me that light.  :-)

So we went to this cool place called REVIVAL. It's a place tht takes junk and makes it super cool (if you are into that sort of thing, whitch I am). Here is a link: LINK

We bought a little something.  :-)

It's a super old ratty ladder with super old boards used as shelves. Don't look at the stuff sitting on it, I just sat this stuff from around the room on it. I'm going to get a smaller super cool lamp to put on it and decorate it and show you all later.



The chair will be farther away from the ladder/shelf deal once my husband builds the square or round coffee table and we can move the chair over.



I also got this.



And we hung it at the end of the stairs (I forgot to take a picture of it head on).




Hung my clock I've had laying around for a long time in the hallway.

Here is a closer look at the ladder/shelf thing. It's blurry because it is friggen dark in this room and I took the picture with my phone.

I think I'm going to put a stack of quilts on both ends of the bottom shelf.
