Why aren't most cashiers checking $20. $50 or $100. dollar bills from AL to NM?

From Alabama to New Mexico, I traveled and stayed in weekly motel and monthly rented rooms all over this route; and everywhere I shopped very few cashiers checked for counterfeit money. I reported this problem to two FBI offices and both agents instructed me to contact the "Secret Service." I informed the FBI agents that I had obviously counterfeit money in my possession, which was the worst printing jobs I've ever seen; and these FBI agents were extremely dismissive. I thought the "Secret Service" only guarded the President of the USA. This problem needs to be publicized. Please kick and recommend this OP.

1. How did you come into possession of counterfeit money?

4. I was getting the hundred dollar bills from a Wells Fargo Bank!

I suffered identity theft. Then, I was forced to draw all my money out of the bank - in cash - to pay my bills. Each time I withdrew money, Wells Fargo Bank gave me three odd looking hundred dollar bills. When I held them up to the light, the nearly invisible faces on the right part of the bill were radically different. When I cashed the $100. bills at a certain store - where cigarettes were cheap - I noticed the clerk was working from two different cash registers. When I held these twenties up to the light, the hidden faces were even more out of register. I told the FBI agent that I thought that I was being used to transport counterfeit money over state lines, since my bank was in Alabama, while I was living in Mississippi.

2. The Secret Service is in charge of protecting the financial system against counterfeits

If you have bogus notes, call the local police or the Secret Service.

http://www.secretservice.gov/know_your_money.shtml

Note that if you surrender a counterfeit bill, you don't get a real one in return. That's why banks always make sure that any counterfeit bill a teller takes somehow always ends up in some customer's night deposit.

10. I do not need a link!

I know the only job of the Secret Service is to protect The Commander in Chief. There are no Secret Service offices in the Southeastern or Eastern regions of the USA. I AM GOING TO A PRINTER AND HAVE THEM PRINT OUT 1,000 COPIES OF THIS COMPLAINT TOMORROW ONLINE NSA IDIOTS AND LEAVE THEM EVERYWHERE! Check my record for "Love Letters to Kelly." I'm not bluffing NSA and FBI online idiots!

Also, the service was originally founded to stop counterfeiting; the Presidential security detail only came 50 years later.

15. My boss doesn't have us check

I work in a small shop, she said she has never got a bad bill before.

I did check when I had part time job at bank though.

when I worked in cashiering at AAA in CA they had us check all big bills.

So I am thinking bigger places in bigger cities check more...makes sense.

Memory fails me but is this the one that claims to be a former CIA agent who is now being monitored by the agency or was that another lunatic?

This horrible O-conomy is hurting everyone. Butterfly nets and tranquilizer dart guns don't come cheap (to say nothing of the hoops you have to jump through at the ObamaCare rationing board - wouldn't want to hurt their voting hand, ya know).

Most places I go to either hold any bills bigger than a $20 up to the light or they mark them with one of those pens. They even check the newer $100 with the purple stripe on them.

Every once in a while the local police put out a notice to look out for counterfeit bills, but it doesn't happen very often.

I heard about counterfeit bills being passed on the news this week, but I don't remember if it was a local or national news broadcast.

I've always thought a game of Top Trumps made out of primitive profiles would make a fun game.

Billy and Bobby sigh, while passing their cards to Jane.

There for a while, I had the misfortune of potentially being exposed to a lot of primitive currency.

Since I live fairly close to the Wild Bill clan, and being wary of his habit of paying with counterfeit $10 bills, I bought myself one of these for peace of mind.
