When I was in college, I would have appreciated the advice of a good counselor. They are not always easy to find and don't always know what you need, but you can get started with one and keep looking until you find one who you are comfortable with.

(A good counselor might have put me on track several years earlier.)

The DUmp is the last place I'd go to for advice. I'd rather take advice from a pool of vomit.

My uberlib FIL was over a few weeks ago and his bride mentioned how they had the princely sum of $25 in their checking account.  After they left we found it amusing that our 6 year old can somehow manage to amass $130 in his piggy bank and have the willpower not to spend it in comparison.
