Don discusses flaws in every repuke.

Every Republican I have known during my entire lifetime had the exact same flaw

They always assume everyone around them is as stupid as they are. Always. Never fails. It is a built in flaw they are born with. They can't help themselves.

President Obama uses that flaw against them every chance he gets.

We should too.

Don

http://www.democraticunderground.com/1002651078

Let me ask you this Don, if we are so damn stupid, then why is it we aren't sitting here begging the government to take care of our every need? How is it us stupid people seem to be able to take care of ourselves?

There aren't any campus directors at CC who can't afford to pay their water bill. I don't know of a single CCer who has been unemployed since Bush SR was in the white house. There isn't a single person here who simply can not make it without the government deciding everything for us, except whether to kill our unborn or not.

If we were truly stupid we would buy every lie that 0bama has spewed since the day he first appeared in the public eye. We would believe that increasing the supply of oil would not bring down prices. We would believe that there is only 2% of the world's oil supply under our feet. We would believe that you have to pass a bill to see what's in it. We would believe that inflating our tires and getting tune ups could solve our energy problems. we would believe that billions of dollars spent on green companies that go bankrupt is a good investment, or a gamble as 0bama has said.

Yeah we are idiots.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

We would believe that owebuma would heal the planet, and cause the sea level to recede, while competently handling the Gulf oil spill.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Yet they express this fear in terms of courage; e.g. we need to spend every single dime we have on national defense to prove how courageous we are. To the extent that they project attributes onto other people, it's that others are as crooked as they are.

I think the smart people use exploit that flaw. Insurance salesmen, gold coin salesmen, "preparedness" salesmen, gun salesmen.

The problem with irrational fear is the fact that it's irrational. We know that there's a strong likelihood that most of the planet will be uninhabitable in 100 years, so lets do something about the rational fears first.

Wow talk about stupid. He is claiming that if you are prepared for an emergency that may or may not arise that you are an idiot for buying insurance, storing food, having guns and ammo and so forth. Yet the planet will be dead in 100 years unless we regulate the hell out of everyone and tax the rich.  :banghead:

DUmmy "logic:"  Voting for government to tax the rich and finding ways to live from that money, having no or very few children (unless you need them for government benefits), and spending your life  :stoner: is smart.

Conservative logic: Standing on your own 2 feet, supporting yourself and your family, building wealth and planning for the future, and someday leaving an estate for your children is smart.

One viewpoint builds our country and our families, the other destroys them.  Wanna bet the DUmmies can figure out which is which??   ::)

Hello Don,

While you are contemplating the inherent stupidity of republicans you should check out this link: Interesting reading for Don

Just peruse through it because there are a lot of interesting stuff there about stupidity.

It is strange that such smart people need others to give them their talking points. You never see that at CC people begging others for talking points. If we are debating someone and they bring up something we aren't familiar with we research it ourselves instead of begging others to do it for us.

Which side tried to insult America's intelligence with a lame ass fictional woman?  Which side regularly sends out Debbie Blabbermouth-Schultz to make assertions which everyone knows are patently untrue?

Again and again, this kind of thread pops up on DU. Its is a kind of bigotry that is based in utter ignorance.
Now we know DU is a collection site for undesirables the Democrats don't want infesting their more public sites. But there is a theme that has been swelling for years.

That theme is the demonization/criminalization of political opponents. Progressives/Liberals today have no love for democracy and wish to replace it. No opposition will be allowed. Take a group of enemies and dehumanizing them to the point of being monsters is a propaganda tool to enslave the ignorant masses. we saw it in Germany, and more recently in Chavez's Venezuela.

If you plan to do terrible things to people, you need to dehumanize them first. Hitler's Jews were sub-human. Farakahn's is white demons. Abortion's victim's aren't babies but viable tissue masses. Ayers is setting up his purge, and the ignorant Brown Shirts of the left will be his willing executioners.

Sorry if I'm a Debbie Downer...But the constant, never ending hate and seething rage at DU (and more threateningly: in the Occupy movement) are building up to something.
(I need a vacation from the DU cesspool)

I think it was during Al Gore's failed bid at the POTUS... one of the campaign claims was that Christopher Reeve would get up out of his wheel chair and walk again (before he passed away).

Yeah, I think that it was during Algore's campaign that the libs at least insinuated that if the goracle won he would wave a magic wand and failed embryonic stem cell research would automatically become successful and cure Superman.

I think it was John Edwards that said that when he and Kerry were trying to unseat Chimpy.

Yes, Don is right, we are stupid. Stupid for working and paying taxes that support their lazy asses. We should all go on strike, sit down, don't hit a lick at a snake. The government would soon, shortly, quickly go bust....the lazy asses would start stealing, killing each other, it would be hell....then when all the DUmmies have been killed, starved or drowned like the rats they are....we go back to work without that monkey on our back and a better government in Washington.

I like to think outside the box some times.  :lmao:
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin
