Late this afternoon, outside the window of my office,
a 20 year-old woman plunged to her death from an eighth floor window, striking a passerby and injuring her badly. At first, we thought it was a suicide, but later reports are that she may have been cleaning her window. This was one of the most horrifying moments of my life, and in addition to the blanket horror and terrible irony, it shows how quickly everything in your life can change, even fade to black. Imagine the sudden realization that one has lost ones balance and falling inexorably and inevitably to the ground below in just a couple of seconds, knowing that you are going to die, having no thought of that just prior.

I have to have a drink and take it easy…this is going to give me nightmares for a long, long time.

[Update] Fox 29 reports that the falling woman was killed in the incident, but the pedestrian survived and is hospitalized with her injuries.
Authorities say a 20-year-old female Temple student was killed after falling from a building and landing on a pedestrian. Investigators believe the girl was sitting on the ledge, possibly leaning out of the 8th floor window taking a picture when she fell.

Police say the Temple student was visiting two male friends who live in the Art Institute of Philadelphia dorms when she fell from the 8th story of the building and landed on a 44-year-old female pedestrian. The 20-year-old female was transported to Jefferson Hospital where she was pronounced dead after suffering severe head injuries.

Strange. I've never seen a dentist office in a college dorm building.

Another hazard of those damned cellular telephones, an invention of Satan.

I saw this thread on Skins's island earlier, but was too lazy to bring it here myself.

She was leaning out an opened window, taking pictures with her cellular telephone.

<<<has no sympathy for her.

Saw this last night and given the Philly fools past history of bouncies but his recent eye opening regarding the love of muzzies and hatred of Jews at the DUmp guessed he was trying to use it as a launch pad regarding victims of muzzie butchers.

I can`t say I blame him for the effort but a wasted one.

No, you lying mouth breather, she didn't.  The Art Institute dorms are at 1349 Chestnut Street and the only dentist office on Chestnut street close to where she died is a block away, on the other side of Broad Street, west of where she fell.  Your office, DUmbtard, is on the 1600 block of Walnut Street which is two blocks southwest of where she died.

But, it's not like a DUmp democrat standing on a dead body to shine themselves up is anything new...

48. Second time for me

Many years ago I witnessed a grad student at Penn take a swan dive out of a 16th floor window. It was at Grad Towers at 36th and Chestnut (again) he landed on top of what was a bar there with a sickening thud. The dean of his school quit shortly thereafter due to all the suicides. No lie.

You'd think he'd be getting used to it by now.

Why did he pretend like he saw the falling girl outside his window?

Also, I find it interesting that so many Dummies want a civil war or revolution but get squeamish over death.

The real story:

(D)Ummie heard of incident on news.  Recognizing the address, quickly decided to create bouncy for attention and sympathy from the other finger painters.

The End.

Why did he pretend like he saw the falling girl outside his window?

Also, I find it interesting that so many Dummies want a civil war or revolution but get squeamish over death.

In thier warped fantasies, the ancient hippies figure that someone else will do the actual revolting and they can slide into the last 6 months, or so, of their miserable lives enjoying the fruits of Utopia.

Reality, of course, ..... will be completely different.

Liberal thinking is a two-legged stool and magical thinking is one of the legs, the other is a combination of self-loating and misanthropy.  To understand it, you would have to be able to sit on that stool while juggling two elephants, an anvil and a fragmentation grenade, sans pin.

Maybe you should give some consideration to how much time the folks in the WTC on Sept 11 had to think about their long deliberate fall out of the 90th floor thanks to the muzzies you are so keen on defending.

Not just the time they were falling, but also the time they had while they decided whether they wanted to burn to death or jump.  I can't imagine being at the point where your only choice is one that leads to death.

Technically, anything that happens that isn't in the building or in the office is outside the window. But that's not what the Philly fool meant.

Now if the Bostonian Drunkard had been in the building, he would have run down the stairs, proceeded to give CPR and would have transferred some of his excess life vibes to the poor lady, who would now be back in the bar, getting drunk.

The question that PCIntern has yet to consider is...why do so many people commit suicide when he/she/it is around ?
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.
