IRAN  -- The Farsi Christian News Network is reporting that Iranian Government Security Forces have burned hundreds of Bibles.

 

A spokesperson for FCNN told the ASSIST News Service," This action [of burning the Bibles], which has been confirmed by informed sources, was aired on a site belonging to the Pasdaran paramilitary organization, is nothing less than shameful and the persons responsible must be identified and exposed to the whole world."

The report said that on Saturday, May 29, 2010, Ati News, a site belonging to Morteza Talaee, the previous head of the security forces and the current member of the Tehran's city council, "in its usual anti-Christian propaganda" reported that their social-life reporter had disclosed that shipments of so called, "Perverted Torah and Gospels" had entered Iran through its Western borders.

This action is no different than what the government has wrongfully accused many Christians of insulting the sacred beliefs of Islam.

I can't tell if these are Bibles, but it seems pretty likely.

We need to recall that these barbaric Muslims have never had a chance to learn how to behave correctly.  That's why we must allow such a huge double standard.  It's America's fault for not educating them.  Yeah.

They burn bibles non-stop, all the time. Nobody says anything. It goes on world-wide. It's a fact.

I guess one good way to look at all this is that Christians don't need to freak out over burned books, dishonored symbols, cartoons, or any of the other things that cause those of the "religion of peace" to riot and kill a bunch of people.  And why would that be?  Because God isn't IN the Bible, He merely wrote it.  Burning His Word is disrespectful, but does Him no harm.  Dropping His symbol into urine does Him no harm.  Those doing such things are harming only themselves, breaking the First Commandment.  However, if you have no real god, no real security, nothing at all except symbols and words...
