Well if subtitles don't bother you I have a great one to recommend. It's called Bang Rajan.

FANTASTIC film, Gunny!!! And here I thought I was the only American besides Tarrantino who'd seen it.
Compac, I'd also recommend Touch of Evil with Charlton Heston (if you like film noir), Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf with Burton and Taylor (if you like great acting and better writing), Invictus with Morgan Freeman (a really underrated sports film about Mandela and the 1995 South African rugby team), and Marcus Nispel's brilliant 2003 remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre (if you like just plain awesome).
I'm planing on doing a blog post about the Texas Chainsaw movie in the next day or so, largely because I believe it to be a masterpiece of horror and suspense. It also occurred to me that that is the first time I've gone to see a film in the theater on multiple occasions in I don't know how long. Actually, I think the last time I did that was when Carrie first came out.
Bottom line, if the Carrie ending scared the shit out of you as much as it continues to scare me, you're gonna LOVE this one.
