HAHA

Elija Cummings is arguing against a motion to strike the kings EO to give a raise to federal workers.

Edit: They are making sausage right now and it would be entertaining if weren't so sickening.

The Democrats are really hating on the motion to freezing federal pay increases.

So is Issa.

Federal employes make on average $100.000 a year.

The funny thing is that the democrats haven't had the time to read the bill!

On a voice vote the federal pay increase failed.

Issa requested that everything gets put on paper so it will take some time to get that out.

They are naming post offices now.

Edit: They were talking about a federal restriction against naming post offices.

The bill passed on a voice vote so the fed named some post offices.

They are now in recess

I've got a few thousand that work with me that would disagree.

also the pay raise was not for the middle class workers, just the elite.

All I am doing is repeating what is being said in the house today.

It was said on more then one occasion that the average is $100.000 by both Republicans and Democrats.

I am not a federal employee nor do I know any, I am just parroting what they are saying on the hill today.

And I am waiting for them to come back in session.

BTW: The issue lost in the house by voice vote so I guess the federal workers won't get there raise. But who knows what will happen tomorrow.

For what it's worth I would have voted *for* the motion to freeze pay for federal workers.

And I would vote against the bill coming over from the senate on the fiscal whatever.

Again they don't know what they know.

Yes this is year number three on the federal pay freeze.

The EO from Obama was only for the elites, hell people making 100k weren't even covered.  I also would have voted against this raise.
