18. Seems to me we need to win Green Partiers voters. Let's ask them to vote for us, Before we curse them out!

(Jeeze!)

Uh huh.

It seems that since the elections of 2000, the primitives have blamed the Green Party a lot of times for Democrat losses at the polls.

Well, there's a simple solution for this.

The Democrat party needs to move down the ideological spectrum further left, so as to nab those Green voters too.

Once they're in the bag, Happy Days are here again; remember, according to the primitives, the "left" is the future.

I have seen this many times.

They have a grudge and vendetta against the Green Party.

I am not sure if true but some news organizations were saying that the rats spent ~$33,000,000 on the Ohio race.   :-)

Yup. The Greens. Or maybe the Russians. Couldn't possibly be the socialism.

For a seat that is up for re-election again in 3 months. A fool(s) and their money...

Is there a link to that figure? It doesn't seem possible that they would spend that kind of $$$ on a seat that will be up again in just a few months.

Oh, I don't know about that.  Incumbents have an upper hand and I think most people are going to say "Meh, they've been in there for 3 months, let's give them a chance to see what they can do."

No idea on the real numbers, but it wouldn't surprise me, after all the PAC money gets totaled in.  Here in MO, Crooked Claire, our Dembot incumbent Senator, dropped three mil on the primaries...not on her own virtually-uncontested race, but on sliming the leading Red candidate, Hawley, whose campaign spent under a mil on some counterattacks.  He had lots of competition in his race, but no standouts he had put serious money into fending off.

Sorry no link that I can find, as I said it was something I heard while flipping between several news programs last night.

Looking around the web and I can not find any figure over 8 million between the two.  Maybe I heard it wrong??

It looks like the underlying reason for this fresh execration of the Green Party is that their candidate's ~.6% of the vote put Balderson's margin of victory greater than a margin that would trigger an automatic recount (i.e. no free opportunity to Al-Franken-ize Balderson). Or maybe DUpipo think O'Connor would have won, but for the Greenie.

Why the anger with the Green party? They are eco friendly and sustainable with a low carbon foot print. I thought the libs were all about the environment.  :-)

If i understand correctly candidates supported by Trump won and the only head to head contest went to the Republican.   I though everyone hated Trump?

It's been 10 years since I joined up here.  How many times has Frank used this headline?   :lmao:  They're always upset and bent out of shape.  It went on for 77 replies of F bombs.  There used to be a DUmmie called "GreenPartyVoter" but she has long since been killed.

Green Party voters..no one is saying you can't vote for your candidates....but don't tell me you care about the environment if you know your vote will make the difference between a Dem winning over a Rep and you still choose to vote for your candidate who has NO chance of winning

Oh, but madam, it's such a great all-purpose generic boilerplate headline.

Don't be fooled, the Greens are socialists too. They are just not as over the top about pointing that out because they know it to be electoral poison.

So, she is basically telling them to shut up and get on the plantation, and be happy with what scraps of their agenda they get once someone else is in power.  And the sad part is, you know that if they did that, they would reduce themselves to total irrelevance.  At least as a spoiler vote, they must be courted by one campaign or another to ask for that vote, but just like African-Americans, if they are taken for granted they get NOTHING.

Of course, the GOP says the same thing to Libertarians, but that doesn't make them right when they do it either.  The GOP is the other side of the coin, happy to throw out some of what the people demand as long as they have POWER.
