I remember the USSR, I miss it too.
I lived there, and moved when it was dissolved. I remember the other folks who lived near me, we weren't rich but we were happy with what we had. The system we had was good for a while but thanks to some unfortunate events we couldn't recover.
When people think USSR they think Stalin but he's a small part of our history and should not be dwelled upon. I miss those days, they were good.
The US could do well with some of the things we had in the Soviet Union, we weren't just communists we were good people too.

17. For all the bad things that can be said about the USSR
At least there was a pretense of valuing and honoring the labor of ordinary workers and farmers. Universal healthcare wasn't a bad idea either.
DUmmies are all about pretense, shallow people that they are. Style over substance and all that.

In a way...for the Soviet citizens born after his death, who grew up during the 'de-Stalinization' during which Stalingrad became Volgagrad, he was indeed a 'Small' part of Soviet history they learned, and all by the design of the state-dictated curriculum.

Good advise from Rebel. The primitives have made it quite clear over time that the USSR is a model for what they wish the USA would become. Of course, under their guidance and supervision, the "bad" things reported in the USSR wouldn't surface. Avoiding the topic, as they are unable to be honest about how they view the USSR within public view, is the best policy going forward.

Funny how they say that when they're constantly talking about banning certain people from speaking (Rush, Beck, Savage, etc.), wishing certain people would just go away (Jesus, Bush, HW Bush, Reagan, etc.), wanting freedom of speech for individuals limited (what they deem "offensive" should be a crime), and wanting confiscation of all wealth and redistributed accordingly (according to how the government "progressives" deem necessary).
There IS no difference between Stalin's Communists and the DUmpmonkies other than power.
