Open letter to any Kennedys who may venture to DU

Thank you for moving my wife and I to tears and reminding us of what greatness in America really means. Thank you for doing the very difficult job of sharing your memories of a GREAT MAN with us all. We all know much more about what made him special (though he was already special to us - you filled in many of the more personal blanks that make him all the more special). Through your eloquently spoken words, in your loss, we all find healing, humor, compassion, sadness - but mostly, the realization of our good fortune to have been served by someone who just wanted to do their part to help so many others. We will have you in our thoughts and prayers. We will never forget Ted Kennedy and all that he did, as we will never forget today, and all that you did to help us all know just a little bit more about him through the generosity of your words.

Surprisingly, it's a small bonfire.

Maybe most primitives know a Kennedy won't ever show up on Skins's island.

In the next week to 10 days, I'm sending a package to one of this generation's Kennedy family members. I'm thinking of making it more than business. This thread might be nice to print off and include.
