At this point, opinion polling seems so all over the map that my expectation is that changes will be of moderate magnitude, not a Blue Tsunami or a massive Red Tide. Further, my impression, of which I'm not particularly confident, is that control of the House is a toss-up, and the Ds may lose a few seats in the Senate.

I lived through Clinton and Obama, so Blue Tsunami or Red Tide, life will go on.

Very true.  I was in the process of graduating from college when Billy Jeff was elected, and kinda dreaded the outcome.  But I quickly got a full-time job and life moved forward.  Similarly under Obama, life continued mostly normally.  Now, I did lose a job in the health care industry because of the fraud that was Obamacare.  But fought my way back.

Will be busy Tuesday night with my side gig, but will come home afterwards and digest the bad news or enjoy it.  Life will continue for those of us who are sane and don't let politics affect every aspect of our daily lives.

I don't want to lose the House, but I think it's a possibility. At least with the Senate and the White House we can stop them from passing anything, but I don't look forward to the Loony Tunes spending the next two years trying to dig up dirt on Trump.   I suspect a lot of independents will get damn sick of it also and show them how sick they are of their childish behavior, we'll take the House right back in 2020.

Really can't trust polling whether it's good or bad.  Hannity had an item today about one that made 31,000 calls and got 451 completions.  All kinds of secondary and tertiary factors can swing a response like that 'way over to one side or the other.

I agree 100%

I've said from the beginning... The House is very close, just because of the sheer number of seats Republicans have to defend.  The Senate is a little more secure.

I think they pick up at least 2 seats in the Senate.. and hold the house by a very narrow margin (maybe single digits)
