I don’t think Silver Gaia understands Texas very well. It’s probably 400 miles from San Antonio to El Paso. It’s probably 300 miles to the closest border with Mexico. I could look it up, but what’s the point. Our state is rather large.

How large is it ???
Here are some little known, very interesting facts about Texas:

It's estimated that hurricane Harvey dumped 19 TRILLION gallons of rain on the greatèr Houston area. Well, how much rain is that? Let's use Niagra Falls as an example.
160 tons of water flows over Niagara Falls every second. This accounts for 75,750 gallons of water per second over the American and Bridal Veil Falls and 681,750 gallons per second over the Horseshoe Falls.
19 Tril. ÷ 757,500 gals/sec = 25,082,508.25 sec = 418,041.80 min
418,041.80 min = 6,967.36 hrs = 290.31 days = 9.5 months
